0 stars is what this restaurant deserves for their customer service. We had 4 major issues with this restaurant We were a party of 5 and ordered 5 different dosa orders The waiter who gave our food came to our table, placed the dosa and started to walk away. He didn’t say anything about what type of dosa it is. We had to ask him which dosa is this, this is something the waiter should mention when they bring the food and place it in front of the person whose order it is NOT across the table! My order was given wrong as my dosa was given to one of the other people at our table (which we noticed once we started eating). I mentioned this to the waitress who took our order she said she can give me a spicy sauce on the side. Even though the order I was told is inside and the person who got my order specifically asked for no extra spices. Another waitress came and said the kitchen said this is how the order is and after going back and forth she said you guys can switch. EVEN THOUGH BOTH PLATES HAVE BEEN EATEN OUT OF. What restaurant says to switch your plate with another member. Would she do that? No. We asked for the bill and was told to go to reception, even though we noticed the waitress who took our order brought the payment machine to a customers table. We went to reaction and asked for separate bills and the owner at reception said 1 transaction is free, we don’t do separate bills you can e-transfer amongst yourselves. He also said each other bill will be charged for transaction. Which is an inconvenience to their customers, and he said this very rudely. How is this good customer service. There is a sign (see picture attached with this review) of this restaurant technically bribing customers for a 5 star review for a free pop can or sweet of the day. Read morePathetic Staff. They don't know how to handle rush. We waited patiently for almost an hour and my 3 year old daughter was extremely hungry and they brought wrong order. Further no staff was on the counter for over 5 mins and when I knocked on their kitchen door to tell them please provide wrong order since my kid is extremely hungry the chef was extremely rude and they don't have empathy towards customer. When I had some strong words with staff over the wait time & confusion and to expedite kid order. Staff said, if you wish you can leave but we cannot expedite the order. At 9.45 PM they have audacity to ask customer to leave the restaurant without catering them. I wouldn't suggest anyone to visit this place just because of poor customer service.
PS: If you read owners reply to this post. You will note their arrogance in reply . They don't understand that we are fully vaccinated and by knocking at their door no one get sick. If that's the case, I just sitting on the table can make ppl sick. One more point I observed while standing at kitchen door. Chef do not wear mask and if he is sick he will make everyone sick. Further, assuming I was wrong chef should know how to talk with customers a simple request to go away from the door would suffice rather than being rude and arrogant. I hope my review is helpful for people to what to expect from this restaurant. To owner we come to restaurant to eat and I am not in for your suggestion how to take care of my kid. We had never pressurized your staff and I just inquired with your staff once in an entire hour. So please stop lying. Conduct basic training for your staff on how to show empathy towards customer and classify in your menu what items are available for lunch and what for dinner, when we placed order for pav bhaji and chole bhature order was accepted and later your staff inform us they are not available. The server didn't even bother to present our bill; instead, she just asked if I was paying with credit or debit. After I confirmed credit, she handed me the payment machine with a charge of $108. However, after I paid, my card was actually charged $111. I immediately asked for an itemized bill, but she only gave me the payment receipt. It wasn't until I insisted on seeing the detailed breakdown that she finally went to her POS system and printed it. To my shock, the actual bill was $98, and with taxes, it came to $105. When I asked why I was charged $111, she casually informed me that the extra amount was for credit card fees. This was infuriating! There was absolutely no mention of these fees beforehand, nor were there any signs posted anywhere to inform customers. To spring a 5% credit card fee on someone without warning is nothing short of a rip-off. It's predatory business practice, and it's no wonder the place was practically empty when we were there. The service was also incredibly slow, and despite my usual practice of tipping in cash, this experience left such a sour taste that I didn't feel she deserved a tip.
