Devonshire Mall is located in Canada. A skip and a hop drive 🚗 across the border from Detroit Michigan. It's now directly on the border, but it's an easy drive to get to. The first thing anyone would notice is its brightly sandstone structure of the various out doors merchant's. Outdoors, yes, because this is not a walk through mall. You simply drive up to the various storefronts and shop until you drop. Needless to say, my wife simply directed, and I drove 🤣🥰🤣. We were explorers going where we had never gone before. There was plenty of parking, all free, no trash blowing around. Temps were moderate, just a little cool and windy. People were friendly, and best of all, there were plenty of things to purchase. 🤣🤣 My Sweetheart hit up the Dollarrama. That's a version of a Dollar Tree. Came out with a few things. A shoe store here n there. We had a delightful time. Our goal as explorers was to just enjoy the visit and return to the US. Border crossing was easy, going and coming. We spent about 4 hours before stopping at McDonald's for a snack. I will say this, there were trucks, 18 teen wheelers size crossing like I never seen crossing. I suppose this happens every day. 🤔 Anyway, I fail to mention crossing over can be by bridge or tunnel from the US. I choose to cross by bridge. Going by tunnel underneath the river wasn't my desire. Although I remembered thinking about crossing the English Channel through that tunnel at one time. But then i said to myself, no no no, seems that was leaking too 🤣🤣🥰. I crossed by hovercraft to Dover England. Besides, rumors were that it was leaking, so that's another story 🤣🤣😉🤫. Well, of to another venture. Got to run. People are people no matter where you go. Just remember to smile, be kind, and most of all, trust God 😊. If my words bring a smile to your face, someone that I don't know, then I've really accomplished my objective. The world is not a perfect place, but sharing my thoughts and humor will go along ways. Give someone close to you a hug and let them know you care about them. Life is short, but what you do will go along ways in their life. Follow me and remember to pay it forward. See my thank you video at the link in my profile....

Something I've always thought was weird about it is the food court is across from all the women's langurie shops. So it's a bit strange in that respects. The dollar store is never in the same place.
Theirs a lot of in and out shops there. Meaning that the lease is probably extremely high so it's not worth setting up shop most of the time. I go to the mall a hand full of times each year. 1-3 times. The shops are honestly never in the same spots, it's incredibly frustrating.
A few of my friends who work there say that they hate Tuesdays (Matinee hours at the theater) and Friday-Saturday because the teenagers and elderly are running a mock or shop lifting.
Bus service there is great but you can't see when your bus has arrived if you're waiting inside because of the weather.
Floors need to be redone because theirs constantly dents and marks all across them.
Parking lot needs to be redone. Period. The traffic is terrible especially near the book store entrance. Needless to say every time I try and park I am fighting with my inner self to NOT flip off and honk my horn and slap the person with a baby with their cellphone out, that has decided that they're going to walk blindly in front of my vehicle at that moment.
Theirs no way you can get to the location via foot traffic. At all.
Honestly you'd be better off shopping at Windsor crossing for prices, selection and pretty much everything else you can find at the mall without sitting in you car for 10 minutes sulking trying to get out and back into the express way.
I've been going here off and on...
Read morePSA if you’re a person of colour, namely black and you’re wrongfully accused of shoplifting at the Devonshire mall Dollarama please share your experience. The racial profiling is insane. I work in the mall and my coworker who is black has been AGGRESSIVELY accused of stealing twice, without provocation on her lunch break. The second time this happened the employees (2 women) yelled at her so loudly and fought with her so relentlessly from inside the Dollarama that everyone nearby was paying attention to it. They made such a big scene “catching her” that the employees in la Senza on THE OTHER SIDE OF THE HALLWAY were all clustered at the front of their store trying to see what was going on. There was no reason for them to suspect her of this in the first place and yet it’s happened twice in the past month, because she’s black. Both times she had to spend her lunch break (during the busy holiday season) in tears proving to security that she had not in fact stollen anything and fearing for the security of her own job in the mall. And once she had “proven” her innocence and asked to speak to the Dollarama manager they told her she was unavailable. I’m white and I’ve gone in to this store 100 times over and this has never happened to me once. It was so unbelievably targeted that an employee from another store in the mall who happened to be there when it all happened came to our store and stated that if she needed anyone to speak up for her as a witness, he’d be more...
