Fort Frontenac is still a fully functioning military facility. The commissioner at the gate gave me info about the history and a pamphlet. He walked me to the entrance and show me a fraction of the wall which used to be part of Fort Frontenac. Unfortunately, the rest of the facility is not...

Personally I think this is a fantastic place. Then again, I worked at the Fort for four years and still get there now and then. The most historic site in Kingston. The public can visit, but check with the Commissioners...
