Mar’s Mini Golf — Attraction in Saskatoon

A local gem worth supporting. Grilled Chicken Caesar salad was thoughtfully made fresh, real bacon bits, not too much dressing and utensils carefully put in. Chicken burger with sesame seed bun, thousand Island sauce, salty sweet burger sauce, slowly melted real cheese, lettuce, tomato and the breading was melt in your mouth. Homemade chili and bun was yummy and comforting with all the napkins, utensils, butter you need in a cute to-go bag with a heartfelt handwritten note. Icecream is fresh and kept at the perfect temp in their freezer. All of this for less than 28$! And they gave me a courtesy Glow box to carry it all in. Affordable, handmade and sustainable packaging.

The golfing is fun too and worth the 3D experience! Hilarious times. Atmosphere is fun, open, inviting with lots of options for all kinds of games. Card games, board games, even fooseball and toss. Make sure the winners sit in the golden games of thrones throne of swords...

We booked Mar’s Mini Golf for my twins’ 6th birthday and we’re extremely satisfied with the experience and service. We had 12 kids aged 4-6 with three adults to surpervise (3 groups of 4 for golfing). It was so nice not to have to worry about any of the prep or cleanup! All we had to do was bring the cake (they even had candles when I realized I’d forgotten them!)

We shopped around before booking Mar’s, and from what I saw, this is the best bang for your buck with kids’ parties in the city. The staff were super helpful and the kids had a great time. I was blown away by the communication before and after the party, too. They even decorated the room and hand drew characters from “How to Train Your Dragon” on the tables! This is a locally owed, family business. I found the staff (family member) to be very kind and helpful with my daughter and her friend and was helpful in answering any of my questions. She tought them how to keep score and allowed them to go through a second time at a slower pace.

They offer hot dogs and ice cream on their snack menu and have space to hold Birthday Parties for the young ones at a resonable rate.

The Mars family contributes generously to local charities and fundraising events and has a loyal clientelle. You can book in advance, or just show up!

Our experience at Mar's Mini Golf was a positive one and I would highly recommend it the next time you are lookong for something to do. Either on your own, with friends, or your family!
