Amazing, Delicious, Friendly, Filling, Savoury…

These words all describe Ngon Ngon 2!

If you’re looking for an unforgettable Vietnamese dining experience, Ngon Ngon 2 is an absolute gem! From the moment you step in, the warm and inviting atmosphere sets the tone for a fantastic meal.

The menu is packed with authentic dishes bursting with flavor. I tried the Bun Cha Hanoi, and it was hands-down the best I’ve ever had – the pork was rich and tender, the noodles were perfect and the fresh lettuce added the extra touch. The Banh Mi is the best in the city. We also had the Pho, a favourite of mine and it did NOT disappoint. I could eat it every single day.

The service was impeccable – the staff was friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about sharing their culture through food. They even took the time to explain the ingredients and make great recommendations. Twee, the owner is an absolute sweetheart and she constantly checked up us to make sure everything was right.

The decor is charming, with beautiful touches that make you feel like you’ve been transported to Vietnam. It’s clear that every detail, from the presentation of the dishes to the ambiance, has been thoughtfully curated. I’ve travelled and eaten at many locations and this restaurant is still my go to.

Whether you’re a Vietnamese cuisine enthusiast or trying it for the first time, Ngon Ngon 2 is a must-visit. I always leave feeling full, happy, and eager to come back!

Me and my co worker book for about 15 people(a head of time). Last Friday around 5pm so I showed up little early the table warent ready that’s fine I waited till they’ve got the table ready and then we ended up with around 16-17 people we were cramp to one corner with 17 people so we asked if we could get move to a bigger area but the server said no we’d have to split our table so okay that’s fine will kept the same table instead and my group will make it work and ask for couple more chair after us customer re organize our table and got everything settled we sat and waiting for 30 mins and no server came to check if we were ready to order and we had to come and get the server to get our orders in. Then we got all our order in took about 15 mins to get our food to start coming in all our entree came first and our appetizer came last and after asking the server that they forgot our drinks 2 times already and my food came a little last not warm but the food tasted amazing so excellent on that I’ve got the duck wish it was pipping hot but all good. So I finished my food and still when I’m about to pay my bill I notice they still haven’t brought my co workers drink and he already started eating his food so for the 3rd time I asked the server to remind them about the drinks that were miss and then I left a bit disappointed since they were a lot of good reviews about this place the food was really good but the service is...

Subject: An Unforgettable First Visit to Ngon Ngon 2!

Our family had the absolute pleasure of experiencing Ngon Ngon 2 Vietnamese restaurant at 803 2nd Avenue North in Saskatoon today for lunch, and from start to finish, our visit was nothing short of exceptional. It was our first time dining here, and we were thoroughly impressed.

The food was truly great, showcasing authentic flavors and fresh ingredients that delighted everyone at our table. Beyond the delicious meal, the service was impeccable and amazingly efficient, making our lunch experience incredibly smooth and enjoyable.

We want to extend a special thank you to Tim and all the other servers who provided legendary customer service. Starting from the service, presentation, and portion sizes to the price point—everything was absolutely on point. I don’t usually write restaurant reviews, but it would feel like a disservice not to share this experience. They had a special on subs that my husband was interested in. Since he doesn’t eat pork, he asked if they could substitute the meat. Not only were they happy to accommodate, but they also let us know that the wonton soup included in the special contained pork. Without hesitation, they offered to switch it to a shrimp version instead—such a thoughtful and appreciated gesture. From the soup to the subs, fried rice, and fresh rolls, every dish was flavorful and perfectly prepared. But the star of the meal was the beef shaker sizzler—loaded with meat, sizzling hot, and packed with incredible flavor. Truly a standout dish that left us impressed. Can’t wait to be back!

I've been going to this restaurant, both on 8th Street and here in their new location, for a while now, and I love their food. The staff is friendly and all, but I've noticed something that's kind of messed up. They always seem to give more fresher vegetables, like bean sprouts and cilantro, to the white customers. I'm not trying to make this a racial issue, but I'm of Asian descent, and I've seen it happen every time I go there. Even my friend noticed it when she came with me once. She got some old, brown bean sprouts and no basil, while the white people at the next table had small plates full of fresh vegetables with basil. I mean, I know your food is good, but don't just cater to the white customers. Asians eat out more often than white people, so treat us all the same. I also have money to pay for my orders, too :D. Just be fair, man. We've noticed, and it's not cool.
