I bought a tablet for Christmas. There were none in stock two weeks before Christmas. I said I had to think about it and I was told they would have more in before Christmas for sure. 100% guaranteed. But they said I had to pay now to reserve it. So I said I think I'm going to do it. I was then told it would almost for sure be there before Christmas, 90% sure. So I said ok, I'll buy it then. Then he said it would most likely be there before Christmas, 80% sure. So I agreed to pay in advance and went to the till. As I walked over he said it will probably be there in time, like 70% sure.
There was a lineup for the till, once I got up there he said there would be a good chance it would arrive before Christmas, like 60% sure. After I gave my money he said he'd call when it arrives, could be before Christmas, like 50% chance. Each time he mentioned it the odds went down. As I was leaving he said "You never know, it COULD come before Christmas" implying it was now quite a long shot.
I never heard from them after that. I called several times, they said they didn't have a clue when they were coming and that's info they don't have access to. I spent $500 on it as a gift for Christmas because the guy said it would be there in time. It arrived a month later. No phone call as promised. I only found out because I kept calling and kept harassing them asking where the f*ck is my tablet!! They couldn't even pick up a phone to let me know it had come in. And the sales guy flat out lied saying it would arrive in time to be a Christmas gift knowing damn well it wouldn't.
Once they have your cash they couldn't care less about you. It's all about making their commission and they will say anything including flat out...
Read moreI walked to this store to ask if they have an iPod touch case. I asked the associate, his name is Gurvir. I showed him the product and he said that they don't have it.
I repeatedly said that it's in your website and I added that it says you guys have them in stock. He consistently said that they don't have it and direct us to a cellphone shop nearby to go there instead.
After that incident, I placed a free store pick up online on that specific product and after 10 mins, I showed the email confirmation to Kuldeep, another associate and he will see if they have it in the back.
Now, they finally came out with the product that I am really looking for. They processed the sale and gave the product to me.
