Update: the manager reached out to me and was gracious enough to offer a gift card and thorough analysis of my situation via email.
Maybe 5 stars is yet to come from the previous low review, but for now 4 stars and a heartfelt thank you to this individual is in order!
Unlike many places that may initially get a low-rating, this place makes up for it. It's not just damage control, I really do think on the management/owner/manager really care about quality, which is always reassuring.
I asked for a custom order juiced drink. Not rocket science. Apple, orange and beet juice, half a cup full, the other half mango chunks blended into a puré, then all mixed together.
I know I was being high maintenance lol, but I asked politely and the worker said it was no problem, there was no one in line or waiting for next order either.
Lo and behold, the manager came and said they couldn't do it, after I already paid and was told it wouldn't be a problem. She tried to pull rank with me and almost dictate to me what would happen lol. Nope, not me. I was adamant to get my order, and after some confusion and needless posturing it was done. Save that there was more than half juice. And they puréd mango mostly frozen orange :(
That and they didn't mix the 2 drinks!
Like no one was there other than me and my guest. This is just a poorly run business cutting corners. If ur picking off the menu you'll probably get what you ordered. I didn't have such luck.
Also, place is running up their prices really high despite inflation rises.
If u got other options take them. This I'd...
Read moreThe reason I’m leaving a one star review is because of the lack of diversity and inclusion for the vegan diet. Multiple smoothies on their menu have frozen yogurt and as a vegan I cannot have frozen yogurt. I asked if the frozen yogurt could be substituted by banana and the cashier initially said sure but we have to charge you $.75. I explained to her that makes absolutely no sense because I’m not using the frozen yogurt therefore it should be able to be replaced at no cost as a vegan. She said this is not normally what we do but let me ask the manager and after waiting for five minutes, they allowed it. My issue is that Jugo juice should have a policy in place to make all of their smoothies 100% vegan by replacing dairy items with non-dairy items or fruit etc. Especially after paying $14. I never come to Jugo juice unless I’m in Surrey because Surrey does not have places such as body energy club, which I normally go to. Overall, very disappointing and this review is to bring awareness to Jugo juice and if you want people like myself coming to your establishment, you better make more inclusive changes, especially when you’re charging $14 for a smoothie. Sidenote body energy club has better quality ingredients better quality, vegan protein powder and more vegetables more fruits and their...
Read moreIf I have to give, I will give zero star to jugo juice at Guildford Town Centre. I bought it purple paradise smoothie bowls. It's not worth it to buy for 14.50 dollars. The girl who was preparing smoothie bowls does not know how to make it. First she added ice and some fruits from different fruit ice packs and hot water from dispenser to blend it. Also she just added mango blueberry and one strawberry. But I told her not to add ice in it. Despite of this, she added ice in it to make it more. She doesn't know how to talk with customers. The taste is watery and I didn't feel the taste of proper fruits . I could feel only ice. Poor customer service and Poor Food quality. I was eating only ice smoothie bowls. Awww!!!! I am a regular customer. First time, I got the smoothie bowls. Please hire those employees who are responsible to make customers satisfied and able to provide good...
