Pricing and location is good. BUT. What’s up with the strawberry? Can we talk about that? it’s $1.5 per box. I understand it. It’s not gonna be the best quality. But it also cannot be 70% of them are not edible?? I mean, hello? cheap price doesn’t mean you can sell something that you are supposed to dump into the dumpster. like most of them are molding, and the worst ones are hidden in the middle and flappy. Plus, the owner has an attitude. I have always know Chinese people have something against each other, but I’m the customer😅like the fact that when we switch the language to Mandarin her attitude changed drastically is funny. If u are born white, be happy about it cuz you’ll be set away from this disgusting culture naturally.

The venerable BLOOR FRUIT MARKET at the corner of Bloor Street West and Manning is an oasis of fresh quality and inexpensive Western & Asian fruits and vegetables attended to by a small army of hard working folks replenishing the stocks and computer sharp checkout ladies knowing the last decimal of everything. It's a preferred go-to location with better quality items at lower prices than our behemoth grocery chains.

the greatest fruit and veggie market in toronto. they almost always have the lowest prices, and you can buy just a single item in "2 for $3" or "3 for $3" promotions and still get them at that price. it's not the cleanest place, but clearly the produce doesn't stay there long enough to become suspicious. the flowers for sale are also beautiful and inexpensive. i always stop by if i am in the area.

I'm not here to write a petition because I know you're not going to take it into account. After reading previous reviews where customers have complained, you've done nothing but make excuses and make it seem like rude behavior isn't as important as the quality of the fruits and vegetables you sell. However, I would like to write something I saw at the store today so that other customers who are thinking of shopping at your store may not do so or think better of it. The cashier is very rude to the girl in front of me who was carrying her fruits and vegetables to the cashier. He treated her very badly, he yelled at her and I also realized that while she was charging things she threw things at us, made faces, a rude attitude as if she was doing us a favor as if it bothered her that we were going to buy and that is very bad service and it is not fair because the people who go there simply go to support small stores and have pleasant service as it is expected to be in small stores within a community, and that was because she was going to buy with a credit card and the cashier told her that they did not accept credit cards in a very rude way pointing at the sign, then she told her to take the things to another place hurrying her. You only have a "cash payment" sign on the back side where the cashiers are, so when you enter the store to buy, you don't immediately see a place in the back behind the cashiers, you just walk in and dedicate yourself to looking for what you want to buy. I think you should consider the position of your signs and that when someone wants to buy with a credit card, the cashiers have a pleasant attitude to say that they only accept cash, well that's your mistake, so for the people who are reading this I recommend that you don't go, it's not worth having bad service and someone raising their voice at you, throwing your products, being rude to you and acting as if you bothered them that you went to buy there. When you can go buy fruits and vegetables at other stores where there are nice people and they are interested in how they...

I visited this place just 10 minutes ago, and I must say I'm filled with regret. The prices are absolutely outrageous, and the conduct of the staff is simply disgraceful. I experienced racism firsthand, and the overall atmosphere was unpleasant. While a customer was innocently coughing on her arm at the checkout, the Chinese women cashier gave her a disapproving look after putting her mask back on. The employees couldn't help but laugh at her. It's important to note that everyone should consistently wear their masks, or not wear them at all, rather than giving judgmental glares. Moreover, it's essential for the staff to enhance their language skills, particularly in Canada's national languages, English or French.

As a business owner myself, I understand the importance of effective communication. This experience has left me disappointed, and I strongly believe that improvements are necessary. There are plenty of other options available that provide better service and value for...

I sent a flatmate to buy me some Basil and green onions and told him to go there since I never go elsewhere. He spent three times more at the wrong place.. If you like fresh and cheap, bloor fruit is better than Kensington market or Roncesvalles. Under the tables outside there are baskets of fruit for a dollar.. may need to carve out any over ripened parts. The pink Lady apples I was recommended are the best ever.. if you find anything on display that belongs in a basket the staff will gladly help make a basket impromptu.. The staff is amazingly kind and helpful. Koreans are the most empathic asians to everyone, please be kind and humour them.. The customers will let you Bud in line if they sense you are having a bad day or in a hurry.. After you notice how affordable everything is you won't go elsewhere. I am bias to a place I have been frequenting for 2 decades. My flatmate had no clue why I wanted him to go there exclusively until he learns to...
