Located just behind the Fort York Historic Site, the Fort York Visitor Centre is a must-visit destination for history enthusiasts and curious minds alike! What sets it apart is that it offers more than just history; it covers a range of engaging topics such as fashion, COVID-19, and the arts.
The Visitor Centre at Fort York houses an impressive exhibit space, including a 2,900 square foot Exhibit Gallery. One of the highlights is the 'immersive experience' exhibit that takes visitors through the events leading up to the Battle of York and the explosion of the fort's Grand Magazine.
