Jane Mallett Theatre — Attraction in Toronto

Recommendation - Amazing Talent! Make sure you get am upper level seat. It allows for better viewing.

Location - Close to the subway and in a great location.

Show - I went to an oper "Lucio Silla". Although, it was a bare bones in terms of props and costume the talent and passion was undeniable. You can tell they love what they do and they do it with their whole heart. They had translations in the background which was helpful. Supporting Fine arts should be on everyone's list.

Great theatre space. Good acoustics. Great sight lines and perfect size for an intimate experience of arts and entertainment. Washrooms are inconvenient and smallish. And was not able to buy refreshments due to lack of staff or set up. Stood in a line for 20 minutes trying my best to buy 3 beers and a bag of chips for about $40. Knowing full well I would pay about $11 at the liquor store for the same items. But I could not get to the bar to order. It was so slow. So go for the theatre. Spend your drink...

Acoustics are good as well as the comfort of the seats. But the guard rails! They have to do something about them and I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for those. All the seats behind the thick, steel pipe rails have their sight lines blocked during the entire performance. Regular patrons know about this and avoid this area.
