a great spot in the city for outdoor activities, with well-thought-out spaces for soccer. The fields and courts are usually in good condition, providing a fantastic area for everyone from casual visitors to serious athletes. However, the turf could do with a bit more maintenance to keep it in top shape. Despite this, the park's location and the variety of activities available make it a valuable asset to the community. The atmosphere is lively, and it's a wonderful place to spend a day out, whether you're looking to be active or just relax. A solid four stars for its overall contribution to outdoor recreation in the area.

This is a terrific activity based park. They have several turf fields, a children's play area and some smaller grassy areas to sit and stroll through. There is a public washroom and a nice little bridge. Parking is avarice on the street or a nearby parkade. It is on a free bus routes and a short walk from the Chinatown Skytrain station. It has a great view of the Vancouver western cityscape and is very close to nearby businesses for food or entertainment.

Those looking for a touch of nature or a respite from urban life will appreciate Andy Livingstone Park as an ideal location. It's especially welcoming to families with kids and pets, providing features such as a pond and seating areas. The park promotes active leisure, making it a great place to bring sports gear like soccer balls, basketballs, and Frisbee for those interested in participating in a range of outdoor activities..

It's a big park considering the inner city location. You can always find a quiet area just for you. There are a lot of gorgeous trees and lots of planted flowers especially during the spring months. In March and the beginning of April you can enjoy the views of all the flowering trees by the little artificial ponds in the park. It's wheelchair acessible and very spacious. The birds can be loud sometimes which makes the whole park very pleasant. You can sit in one or more places on every side of the park or you can take a walk around and inside the walkways of the park. Everything is very well groomed and clean. There are comfortable garbage diaposal bins at the entrance and at the exit of the park. The washrooms are at the Andy Livingstone Field across the street where you can play games and excersise or jog. There are gorgeous walkways outside of the park along the fences of the park and the sports field. You can find a lot of privacy and peace if that's what you're looking for. The Andy Livingstone Park part is not exactly for socializing with strangers. The guests usually stay alone or in couples or with their family. It's a very quiet park. The sports field across the street on the same side is a better area for socializing and playing. The views around the park especially are very beautiful during the spring, summer and the autumn months. Appears to be quite safe. It's very rare to encounter people doing drugs in the public areas of this park as the public drug use has become illegal as...

Two great turf fields that are used year round.

Dog off-leash area is used pretty often. The risk of syringes is high.

Restroom/change rooms frequented by IV users and extremely mentally ill people. Syringes everywhere, usually cleaned by soccer players by late afternoon. But back to square one every morning.

Do not take children into the play structure. It is used like a hotel overnight, every night. NEEDS to be removed. Risk of uncapped needless is high.

Often 2-3 tenters, especially on pedestrian overpass. 5-10+ passed out IV users at any one time. Frequented by 'speed' junkies who haven't slept in days. Two mentally ill men live under the pedestrian overpass.

Water feature is disgusting. Full of filth.

Used syringes EVERYWHERE. I've picked up 40+ (with gloves) on days I visit. Human feces at the corners of the pedestrian overpass where the city has placed used syringe containers for disposal. Often there are large clusters of needless around as many users stop short of actually depositing the syringes.

Poverty/mental health overspill from...

Andy Livingstone Park, nestled in the heart of Vancouver, is a delightful urban oasis that seamlessly blends natural beauty with recreational facilities. Spanning over 3 hectares, the park is well-known for its lush greenery, providing a serene escape from the city's hustle and bustle. The centrepiece of the park is its beautifully landscaped garden, featuring a variety of plants and flowers that bloom throughout the seasons, creating a vibrant and ever-changing tapestry of colors. One of the park's highlights is its extensive sports facilities, including well-maintained soccer fields and a popular skate park, attracting both local enthusiasts and visitors. These facilities are complemented by walking paths that meander through the park, perfect for leisurely strolls or brisk walks. The paths are well-lit and safe, making the park accessible...
