It's a big park considering the inner city location. You can always find a quiet area just for you. There are a lot of gorgeous trees and lots of planted flowers especially during the spring months. In March and the beginning of April you can enjoy the views of all the flowering trees by the little artificial ponds in the park. It's wheelchair acessible and very spacious. The birds can be loud sometimes which makes the whole park very pleasant. You can sit in one or more places on every side of the park or you can take a walk around and inside the walkways of the park. Everything is very well groomed and clean. There are comfortable garbage diaposal bins at the entrance and at the exit of the park. The washrooms are at the Andy Livingstone Field across the street where you can play games and excersise or jog. There are gorgeous walkways outside of the park along the fences of the park and the sports field. You can find a lot of privacy and peace if that's what you're looking for. The Andy Livingstone Park part is not exactly for socializing with strangers. The guests usually stay alone or in couples or with their family. It's a very quiet park. The sports field across the street on the same side is a better area for socializing and playing. The views around the park especially are very beautiful during the spring, summer and the autumn months. Appears to be quite safe. It's very rare to encounter people doing drugs in the public areas of this park as the public drug use has become illegal as...

Do not take children into the play structure. It is used like a hotel overnight, every night. NEEDS to be removed. Risk of uncapped needless is high.
Often 2-3 tenters, especially on pedestrian overpass. 5-10+ passed out IV users at any one time. Frequented by 'speed' junkies who haven't slept in days. Two mentally ill men live under the pedestrian overpass.
Water feature is disgusting. Full of filth.
Used syringes EVERYWHERE. I've picked up 40+ (with gloves) on days I visit. Human feces at the corners of the pedestrian overpass where the city has placed used syringe containers for disposal. Often there are large clusters of needless around as many users stop short of actually depositing the syringes.
Poverty/mental health overspill from...
