Just brutal. My office orders from here regularly and they always mess up the orders. We have continued to give them the benefit of the doubt but this was the last time. The vegetarian salad had chicken on it and the staff argued with us about it. I have seen them put chicken on a vegetarian salad and then take it off and try denying it.

In the past I've emailed customer service because I hate just writing a negative review but they also didn't seem to care.

Disappointing.

Thank you for responding. I do appreciate you contacted me regarding the refund. What I don’t appreciate is you didn’t acknowledge other parts of the email including when your staff put chicken on a vegetarian salad then tried removing it and denying the fact. When we requested to have the salad remade the staff definitely made it clear that they were not happy with this by slamming the salad down on the counter and saying nothing when we thanked them.

As for the incident the other day. In the notes section on the website we wrote vegetarian so I’m not quite sure why anybody is arguing when chicken was placed on the salad.

Yes they remade the salad but didn’t offer to put any type of protein on I had to request this for a $22 salad.

As I stated in my first review I’ve given Field and Social the benefit of the doubt many times and I’ve been a loyal customer. I completely understand mistakes happen but when I have to argue with the staff it’s just not worth it. It was a very awkward moment with even another customer telling me that he felt it was inappropriate the way the staff...

Was excited when the location first opened downtown. I have frequented the place (as it is easy for lunch) over the years, but in the past while, I have seen the quality decrease (and prices increase). I often pre-order my meals, but lately there are always mistakes.

I like to do add-ons as I usually want a bit extra. I ordered the chickpea salad, one I often get. I added in cucumber and chicken to the order. In the salad, they forgot the pita chips, got the tiniest dollop of hummus, I got the equivalent of 3 grape tomatoes, and there was barely any feta or arugula included. All ingredients which are to be included in the salad. It's been a few times I have let mistakes happen, some I go back and have corrected, but my most recent salad was just so...sad. I spent $26, which I gulped. And that price, embarrassingly, isn't rare for me to spend (after extras are put on).

I keep going back as I keep giving them the benefit of the doubt, but I think it's time to spend my money...

Extremely disappointed. After reading the reviews, I was very excited to order from this restaurant. I ordered from the Mount Pleasant location. My salad came and there were no cucumbers, no tomatoes, no extra side of pickled red cabbage I had ordered. It was gross. I would never serve this to someone, let alone charge $30 for it. When I called the location, they informed me that they could not send the correct order out again as they could not do something that was not credited from Skip the Dishes. Even thought they messed up the order. Then they did not know how to give me a refund. Extremely disappointed. Now I am hungry and having to attend meetings all afternoon. Hangry is never a way to be at work. What they sent is so disgusting I cannot eat it. I will never order from this...

** disclaimer I took this photo after I shook the salad and started eating When I was working in downtown, Field & Social was my go-to spot for some of the best salads in the city. Let me tell you, their Caesar salad is a game-changer, it’s fresh greens, perfectly seasoned chicken, and just the right amount of that homemade Caesar dressing that’ll make you forget all about the bland stuff from the grocery store. Sure, it can get pretty bustling during lunch hours, but trust me, every minute spent waiting in line is worth it. It’s a haven for downtown professionals like myself craving a healthy yet satisfying lunch option. Pro tip: If you’re tight on time, I highly recommend placing your order in advance to skip the line and dive straight into salad paradise!

Super yummy! We virtually swung by for a quick lunch bite via UberEats and loved it! All the food was well presented in compostable or resuable packing and utensils. The Thai Peanut Salad (Vegan) was superb, very fresh and vibrant flavors with a great well rounded portion of wholesome ingredients. The satay was also pretty up to scratch and a nice touch. The Tempeh was dope and cooked and seasonsed to perfection for an awesome texture and exciting flavor. Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chip Cookie, flawless and tasted incredible.. a delicious way to top off lunch! I can't wait to go again and try some other of their exciting and quirky vegan options! This place is a solid go-to, albeit more on the expensive side for salads usually.

A nice little salad place with some interesting salad options. The flavour profiles are really nice and a variety of textures to keep your palate intrigued. The Macro Bowl I tried had wheat berries, served warm, which I really liked. The portion was large enough to be a meal for me, but might be lacking for those with heartier appetites. The staff made a mistake with my order and gave me chicken instead of tempeh, but were friendly and quick to correct the problem. The price seemed a little high to me when I paid (especially if you get a drink or extra toppings), but in afterthought, given the location and quality, it seems fair.
