Pictures are focusing mostly on the children's play area. There are several distinct sections of the kids park. There are swings, jungle gym, some climbing space, rope action, slides. Enough to satisfy the young ones.
The fields are ok. Ultimate frisbee use to use this as a field but due to lack of washroom, and uneven grass it was probably not the most preferred field. There are baseball diamonds setup for some league play as well.
There's also an outdoor fitness area that gets pretty good wear and usage from the people in the neighborhood.
If your planning on having a picnic or a BBQ, there are a few picnic tables spread throughout the park but they are generally in use especially in the summer.
Canadian Geese tend to have a field day on that grass during parts of their migratory year.

Read moreNo washrooms! We visited for my kid's soccer game. Driving a significant distance to get here. The nearest public washrooms we could find are at Riley Park. A 38 minute walk each way. We drove. The total trip to drive to find washrooms through painfully slow Saturday traffic and construction delays was 33 minutes. It is totally unacceptable for a sports park with a full-size baseball diamond, soccer pitch, and children's playground to not have public washrooms. This should be a provincial law.
