Weird and unwelcoming vibes when we came in. They only accept cash and e-transfer, likely to not have to pay the taxes. One girl was sick and coughing, though she did have a mask on. I politely moved to the side when she was walking by as I was in her way, and she threw her hands up in annoyance it seemed. Not very nice. Noticed a couple people weren’t wearing gloves however not sure how it works with sushi making. Sushi was way too big due to too much rice, could barely taste the other stuff inside. Got a yam cheese roll but it appeared to be potatoe…spent $25 and only ate a couple rolls. Felt sick ever after that. I am a sushi lover and this was the most disappointing sushi I’ve ever had. They need to do better. I’ve never had a disgusting and unwelcoming experience like that at any sushi place.

A non-authentic Japanese sushi place with bad experience: first, the salmon, tuna and ebi (shrimps) were not fresh, the rice was uncooked, the roll fell apart easily (couldn’t be picked up by chopsticks). The staff were super rude, especially the cashier! She rolled her eyes on me (even after I paid with 15% tips). You could not really have a choice of rolls from the combination (they already set it for you; it was Alaska today). It is Cash Only! The only positive thing I would say about this place is that they offered you self-served hot tea for a rainy day!! I would definitely NOT come back again!!! I am surprised how they got more than 4 stars on Google reviews! Maybe that’s why they got much lower Yelp reviews!

My top sushi place ever, all my friends and family loves it as well. The prices have risen over the years , but the quality is still very good. The sizes of the sushi and fish is super generous. I also order takeout and it’s cash only. My go to rolls are: salmon roll, spicy salmon roll, chopped scallop roll (spicy option as well), unagi roll and the BEST thing on the menu is the SPICY SALMON SASHIMI!!!

This place is one of the reasons why I don't trust ordering sushi takeout via telephone or Uber in Vancouver. First of all, they never told me it was cash only over the phone... so I show up and have to send an e-transfer. It made me feel very uncomfortable and I just wanted to walk out without my order. Secondly, they are FAR FROM authentic and the food is not fresh. I asked for tobiko nigiri, but they gave me very fishy masago (smelled way past it's due date). So that was straight to the trash. Also the unagi was advertised as BBQ eel. However, upon arriving, I noticed that there was no equipment in their kitchen for grilling. The roll came to us with cold, slimy, unagi and a weird BBQ sauce over top. In their menu the roll was advertised as having tobiko, but again they used that disgusting, rank, masago. I guess they don't know the difference between tobiko and masago cause the chefs are not Japanese and/or educated in sushi-making. I also had to pick out a sharp fish bone from one of the rolls. Moreover, the rice around the rolls had a strange yellowish-cream tinge to it, and was either overcooked and mushy, or slimy because of old rice. Both are horrible options to choose from. I ended up chucking 3/4s of my avocado rolls into the trash cause my stomach just couldnt handle the disgusting rice. Altogether, my husband and I are now laying in bed with upset tummies and empty wallets. The portions may be huge, but the quality and freshness is just not there. We are so extremely disappointed....

I was hoping for this to be my go to close quick sushi place, but unfortunately the experience I got from my first and only time visiting was sufficient enough for me to write a poor review. First off the place is cash only, which given the sheer volume of sushi restaurants here you would think you would do anything to ensure that you could provide multiple streams of payment. Second the staff were not very pleasant when I had arrived to pick up the food, it was like a "I don't care take it or leave it"esque attitude. Third, I found a large hair in the ginger, which I don't really make a fuss about, cause it can happen, I guess... But it happened to just be the cherry on top in regards to me being fed up enough to write a review tonight. Fourth, the sushi was alright at best, definitely below the average quality that you would expect in Vancouver at least... I had better sushi in Edmonton, if that says anything about the low bar that has been set. Overall - I will not be going back here and would not recommend...

Placed a take out order over the phone and upon picking up the order was told it’s cash only. The older woman at the cash was very rude and told me to go find a bank when I mentioned I had no cash. I told them they should have mentioned the cash only over the phone when I placed the order and she laughed and said ‘we only tell people who ask us if it’s cash only’. Makes no sense. The younger lady there mentioned I could e-transfer instead and gave me the email address on a piece of paper. I transferred the money and when I asked if she received it she said no and double checked the email address and realized she made a typo. I had to them cancel my original e-transfer, pay a cancellation fee and transfer to the correct email address.

In terms of the sushi, I wasn’t the biggest fan. I noticed the rolls have quite a lot of extra rice in them and not a lot of filling. Definitely quantity over quality. The rolls also fall apart very easily. Will not be returning to...
