Alexis Nihon is basically a shopping mall around Downtown Montreal. I always visit this shopping for easy shopping and to buy something quick. This is my PROS and CONS for this mall. . . PROS: 1. Downtown Montreal area - This mall is around Downtown Montreal. What that it mean? It means that this place is near more stores around the area, more places to visit with and a lot of services around Downtown. 2. Metro - It is connected from Metro Atwater (Green Line) train. This is very convenient for fast transportation. 3. Varities of shops - Gift shops, Dollarama, Canadian Tire, Pet shop (Nature I think), Watch shop, Winners, Sports experts, IGA, phone shop, etc. 4. Food court - A lot of food choices here from different kinds of race. 5. Phone Provider - Some major phone provider is accessible here. Bell, Fido, Telus, Videotron. 6. Fastfood - Okay so beside the main foodcourt, there are some major fastfood stores here like Tim Hortons, Starbucks, McDonalds, etc. 7. Grocery - IGA is here. I like there chicken combo with fries for about 5 bucks. 8. Cineplex Forum - Montreal Forum (French: Le Forum de Montréal) was an indoor arena located facing Cabot Square in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Called "the most storied building in hockey history" by Sporting News, it was the home of the National Hockey League's Montreal Maroons from 1924 to 1938 and the Montreal Canadiens from 1926 to 1996. The Forum was built by the Canadian Arena Company in 159 days. (via Wiki) 9. Park - It is near the Cabot Square park. Good place to sit and enjoy the outdoor view. 10. VR - There is virtual reality shop here to enjoy some virtual views. It is new from here. 11. Pharmacy - There is also a pharmaprix here. Self-explanatory. 12. Tables and space - There are a lot of tables and space to sit and to spend some time eating around the mall. 13. Charging station - Around in some spaces or near the tables, there are electric outlet. 14. Accessibility - Escalator, elevator, stairs. 15. There's really more but I guess these pros are enough. . . CONS: 1. Crowded - Be careful of your things and yourself. You might bump someone. 2 Busy - Most of the fastfood here are super busy especially around lunch time. I will update this if applicable. Alexis Nihon is coming along nicely. New spaces opening soon, the Pharmaprix expansion and the new Jardin. The holidays will be spectacular as always at the mall. The Econofitness that was located in the Forum is now on the main floor of the mall. Pharmaprix is undergoing a massive rebuild adding double the space from adjoining businesses that were shuttered during Covid. A new grocers section us being added and the pharmacy and main floor space footprint has doubled in size. We can gather in the mall to sit down, all shops are open for business so come out and get a coffee, visit an anchor store. And do some much needed business.

Scam and fraud , Never will back there A shop called electroCell at Metro Level I went there to repair my iPhone , First of all they told my crazy expensive price and I was told it takes 3 days to repair , After 3 days , the phone wasn't ready They told me " give us 48 more hours " I came back again the same . Anyway another 24 hrs past and finally I got my phone back. The camera wasn't working while the problem was broken screen only! They refused refund or repair I went to Apple store and I was told some parts are missing .and they showed my the phone No trusted business at all. These type of businesses must close ASAP,

Pretty decent mall that is on western edge of Downtown core. I am rating it 3 stars for the stores it has, given the location, and the location on edge of downtown and direct link to the Atwater Subway station. The stars docked were for, not this location is unique to it, chronic presence of homeless ppls at the subway entrance to the mall, the occasional hobo bum bothering customers while standing at the Timmies, food court upstairs or the McD's. Also my other main gripe was the current 2 plus weeks of them blocking the usual escalator that goes up to main street level floor with a Under Construction Sign with no apparent work being done in those 2 weeks and top it off, no other sign for ppls who mainly come from the subway entrance direction who tends to walk towards the upside escalator, there isn't any advanced signage in the traffic corridor to indicate to take the other side escalator that has been switched to move upwards. This has been happening for the last 2 weeks and the mall admin.security are clueless to this issue, the hobos roaming the mall. In addition, one time i got food poisoning from eating the IGA ready to eat meals from there and avoided IGA for almost 3 months. Plus the Cocobun store is slightly overpriced, like all their other across town Cocobun stores and I find their installation of metal gate and barricade at the front of their stores are a laughable attempt in theft deterrence when i personally stopped a homeless person from stealing a drink from their store. No one in the store had a clue that this guy was stealing.

Customer Service Desk WARNING In reply to other commentators here regarding the CUSTOMER SERVICE DESK, I have frequented this mall sitting near the food court often enough to have seen that they have removed the customer service desk they had that was fronting the elevators on same level as IGA. They removed the desk kiosk and now installed a new kiosk store selling food?!. THAT is why ppls can't find the customer service desk to validate their bills from this mall to get their parking indoors for free! And it is SAD that the mall still advertises that free parking when no customer service desk exists to validate your purchases in the mall. Overall, the mall is decent given the store options and location, but is docked a few stars for the gripes I...

2024: Bathrooms were in awful condition, IMO. The mall itself was clean and a fun place to shop & walk around. But the bathrooms were awful IMO. Sometimes possibly anti-social people act out, as in spitting grossly into a garbage can.

During Covid During first day of non-essential public spaces like libraries, rec centers and schools being closed what appeared to be a janitor standing in the opening for bathrooms coughing without a tissue or elbow protection. I declined to go in until he gave me more space and he turned the whole thing into a power struggle until I told him I had asthma and I am told to practice social distancing when people suddenly start coughing. It was really unpleasant and the mall was almost empty. Someone else left the bathroom covering her face which was a better idea but I had no idea he was going to start coughing in the first place let alone start power tripping like that during this covid-19 scare. Add to that, IMO, stupid encounter, I could not find one store in that entire huge mall that still had hand sanitizer except some hand cleaning substance in a fancy tiny carrier thing at a news stand store for over $4.00 before tax. During my first visit at this mall I found that it was in a great location and it was actually a good experience but today was awful. Metro is connected to building so easy to get to. Security came to my rescue without me having to ask when drunk lady wanted to share my food. Bathrooms are clean most of the time, but once one stall was super gross cause someone was sick. MacDonald's doesn't always feel safe. Sometimes you see a person getting arrested or taken away by ambulance in the hall or outside. Lots of panhandlers in front of mall building across from cinema; they can get aggressive. Lots of brand name stores. Free wifi after completing a demographic...
