Read moreThis is previously a working pier for the distribution market adjacent - the district councils later realised that there are potential for enhancement as there are less demand for local water transport for agricultural goods.
This bit of the pier was essential to connect the whole central and western district waterfront - which is previously separated - perfect route for causal runners who’d like a nice view of the Harbour.
There are some nice playing facilities and spots for fishing. Occasionally there would be public events at one of the piers.
