Feather & Bone (Sai Ying Pun) — Restaurant in Hong Kong Island

We recently dined at the Feather & Bone on Des Voeux Road West and had a pretty good meal. This is a casual butcher shop/steak restaurant in Sai Ying Pun, a place where you can pick out your own steaks behind the counter and they will grill them up the way you like. Opening hours 7/8am to 10pm daily.

During our meal we tried a 30-day dry-aged, grain-fed steak medium rare that was pretty good. The steak was grilled well and the beef tasted just fine with nice hints of blue cheese as a result of the dry-ageing process. Served with a side of the creamy mash potato, this was a nice steak order, something not always easy to find in Hong Kong.

We also tried their lamb burger that was fantastic. The minced lamb was seasoned with a slighty spicy rub, grilled medium temperature and topped with manchego cheese, sun-dried tomato and arugula. This was an flavourful and excellently prepared burger, enjoyed every bit as much as the steak and something we are eager to return for.

Lastly, we tied their roasted pumpkin (for sharing). The pumpkin was large and roasted well, topped with feta and pomegranate, seeds and a bit of greens. This was a surprisingly delicious order, something yummy for the vegetarians in the group visiting Feather and Bone.

No room for dessert after our heavy meal unfortunately. They offer reasonably priced wine by the glass and bottle and a handful of beer selections as well.

Overall, we were quite impressed with Feather and Bone. Everything we were served was very good, worth reordering again. This is a place we'll be trying to schedule a follow up meal...

I recently enjoyed a wonderful lunch here with my family after a personal training session upstairs, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience.

It’s a treat for any meat lover to see such quality and choice on display. • We were also impressed by the attention to detail—such as offering organic ketchup with our meal. These thoughtful touches truly elevate the dining experience.

first time customer with feather and bone and made an order through their website a month ago. the order was to arrive this morning but nothing was received and no contact was made. tried contacting their customer service at 6313 0513 but no one answered the call. was really looking forward to my order but this experience has led me to believe that they are possibly a scam? my money has been taken but product not delivered and no communication whatsoever on their part to solve my problem. Think twice before ordering with these guys!

Update: the order that was due between 9am~noon finally arrived at 4pm. There was no communication from the driver or customer service. I had to call their restaurant number before I could finally reach anyone to talk to. Website says there is no refund or compensation for late deliveries so it is clearly a problem they are aware of and have no...
