I was going to give a 2-star review but after the interaction just now with the manager I changed my mind. It has been 17 hours since I checked-in and the WiFi in my room is still not working... It all started yesterday when I checked-in at 5pm and I called the reception to report. They told me they would restart the system. At 6pm I call again saying that it's still not working and they told me they would check and call me back (which they didn't). At 7pm I am leaving for dinner so I pass by the reception to complain again and he tells me the IT Department is already closed so they can only fix it the next day. In the morning I wake up and the WiFi is down so I call the reception again and they tell me they will talk with the IT Department again. As I am leaving to go to work I ask to talk with the manager and she says there is nothing they can do since the Hotel WiFi does not work well... So why do they promote the "Free WiFi" in their website??? I would also like to share that I went to the Hotel gym earlier this morning and both the treadmill and the bicycle were broken... I must say the room is OK with the exception of not having any power plug near the bed. So I can only recommend this hotel if you get a very good price and you don't care about having WiFi or going to the gym. Needless to say, I will NEVER, NEVER stay in this hotel again...

Perfect if you feel empty inside and finally wanna end it 👌 This place will squeeze out the last drop of joy out of you. There’s a reason why you can’t open the windows ( very tempting) smells like gym ( feet, vinegary/mustardy balls , mold and everything) . The lady at the desk was as friendly as can be ( she didn’t spit on us nor insulted). The room has a taste( gamy and somehow blue cheese). Here you don’t need a shower, you need an exorcism. Tips for women : be careful with the bed sheets , you might get pregnant . I woke up with a hair in my mouth, short and black ( not curly though, there’s still hope). Carpet looks like someone sharted on it. This place should be called “ worst eastern wrestling gym” The only positive is that they will find a warm body because if you forget to press the “ do not disturb button “ they gonna wake you up at 8:30 sharp: “knock’ knock” ’- Harrow ?…. Harrow? “Knock’ knock” -Room creaning?? “Knock’knock’knock’” -Harrow?? ( I’m harf Chinese I can make that joke) Overall I had a good laugh, so if you’re not asthmatic , got ( a whole lotta) money to spend, don’t like smiley faces, don’t need answers to your questions ,this place is made for you. P.s - if you want high level lung disease , send yourself 2-3 days here and forget.

Certainly not a 4 star hotel but also not as bad as some other reviews say. I didn't have had holes in my towel 🤣 They cater mostly to mainland Chinese I think. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is not good from western perspective better get some outside very close to the hotel is a great and cheap breakfast restaurant. The Ding Ding tram stops directly in front of the hotel (water street) MTR is also not far but be aware the area is hilly from MTR you need to walk up and also the MTR station is quite large so to the MTR train takes all in total 10-15 min. Airport bus very easy very close to the hotel. It looks al a bit like early 90's style conference hotel.🤣 They even have computer stations like internet cafes in the 90's Fridge worked. Laundry self service also convenient

Unsatisfied experience||It is second time we stayed here because we were happy about our first time less than two month ago. Same style of suite we booked this time but completely different feeling!||||First, there was a disgusting stinky feet smell of the bathroom. We tried to figure out what’s going on, it was the towel or anything but that smell just didn’t go even after 3 times are asking the stuff to come check. We have been waiting for awhile after the first call and they didn’t come up until I called again so that they came up only spraying some air freshener in the bathroom and the smell instantly came back. We called before we head out they said they would find someone to check. Told them at least giving us an air freshener but they didn’t seem to care. They only offered us to change room when I told them the smell was still there again but it was already the second day and we have had spread our stuff all over the room already. Well, the smell was there the whole time we stayed. I bought some incense and put it up everytime we use the bathroom instead to get rid of smelling that terrible smell!||||Secondly, the shower tub in our room this time is like a tube, I am only 162cm 45kg and I struggled in the shower. My partner is 180cm 80kg and it was a total disaster for him to take shower.||Shower tub. In additional, this “shower tub” leaks water! The shower head was leaking from the assemble area but we were not bother until this morning the whole head was disconnect while my partner was just taking it out from the stand! Seriously?||||Thirdly, and unfortunately it was really pissing me off. Because I wasn’t feeling to well the second day of our stay. When my partner headed out by around 1230 he put on a DND light to make sure no one will bother me to sleep more. At 1400, the housekeeping call in my room! Honestly those hotel phone ringtone is definitely even worse than a door ring bell! And why? If you have seen there is DND sign it means I don’t need your service until I request no? Why would you call in the room and ask me when can you come clean it? What is it so hard for a hotel staff to understand what DND is? This is honestly totally unacceptable and not appropriated!||||So, no third time to us if this hotel service is so...

So here's the thing. Spending 340 nights a year in hotels is both a bane and a gauge to be able to measure both service and quality. This hotel fails in both departments. Check in was dealt with by a trainee as the other two senior staff were deep in a discussion which by their laughing had nothing to do with work. It was pretty cold and impersonal (my check in not the colourful conversation)

My drama started when I came back from work and found a note under my door to call reception, which I did. The duty manager was angry about "my huge gym apparatus which hang in door. You use you can't stay here" reference was about a TRX suspension exercise system that I use in every hotel I stay at from Marriott and. le Meridien to Hiltons, Novotels, Ritz Carltons, intercontinentals, crowne Plaza etc). I was intact introduced to he TRX by a GM in a hotel in Sydney who recommended it to business travelers such as myself as they are "designed to be hung from the inside hinges of sturdy hotel doors". Anyway two unanswered letters to Best western head offfice in Phoenix as well as a rather unpleasant telephone conversation with the duty manager and it's pretty obvious the BW group takes great and unimaginative offence at TRX. Pity the gym is so poor it's not even referred to as a gym

Second problem was an iron. I am in HK on business and needed to iron my shirts. My 530 am phone call was answered promptly and I was similarly promptly told there were "no irons until a guest checks out". What??? Most hotels have an iron in room or at least have ample irons to service the needs of hotel guests

My request for a queen bed was unheeded but luckily I pushed two single beds together. On request a queen sheet was thrown at me and I was left to fit it myself. Which I did

All in all this would rate as a Fawlty Towers hotel experience. Funny to read about for sure, not so funny to experience. So my advice, unless you are John Cleese in search of a muse, avoid...

This is actually the 2nd time me and my family stayed in this hotel, 1st stay was back in Dec 2018. We went back staying in this hotel due to it’s strategic location and supporting surroundings.

This time, we stayed in 2 separate period: 26-29 Dec 2023. 31 Dec 2023 - 05 Jan 2024.

I hired 2 rooms (Suite & Superior room) me and family (in Suite room, 5 people including 3 children) the Superior room is for my Parents (aged 87 and 83).

To summarize: Un-friendly front desk staffs, during check-in, check-out, or even any other issues that you have to deal with them. As if, they don’t aware they are dealing with customers & they really showed faces that they don’t like to be bother by their own customers

No lobby for taxi drop on/off, which have to use side hotel entrance, that is specifically designed for hotel internal use

on the day we check-out, PLS TAKE NOTE of one of the hotel security name Ray (philipinos), he is EXTREMELY RUDE and have ZERO TOLERANCE at all towards the hotel guest (place where he worked). We are a group of 7 people, where 1 is a child and 2 are seniors aged 87 & 83, and my mom is in wheelchair !!! We are waiting for Taxi/uber in the side entrance of the hotel (hence due to no proper lobby) and that Ray FORCING us to remove all our luggages and our standing location, including my mom in the wheelchair !!! Despite i said to him that i’ve stayed in the hotel for 8 days and we were there for just 5 minutes, awaits the taxi coming in (which i showed him ETA of the uber app), yet he didn’t care at all and said that we’re blocking the entrance way of the hotel side… And i have to argue and hard yell to him for 5 minutes, until the Uber arrived.

What kind of staff / security is this??? No Human compassion/tolerable at all??? Especially towards their Customers…

My goodness, WE WILL NEVER stay in this horrible service hotel again.....
