Had a nice potato waffle dish here, and the mocha tasted just how I like it -- nutty and complex rather than sweet. The place is always busy on weekends around midday/afternoon.

Poor seating design though. In one area there's a long table, one side of which has a long bench with a seat back. People don't usually visit cafes in large groups, so this area is generally occupied by some single people and some pairs all together. To get to the empty space, you will have to either climb over the seat back, ask the two people on the end to get up and let you in, or ask them to move over so you can sit on the end. The people on the end may be there together with people sitting across from them, so the last option may not be reasonable.

In the 1.5 hours that we were there (sitting on the non-bench side), we saw several people awkwardly trying to figure out how to deal with this seat back. I've probably written way too much about this by now, but it had to be said because it's a foolish design that didn't take typical cafe visitor habits into account and doesn't even look...

Terrible customer service!

We went in as a group of 3 and were told we could only sit in the bar table even though the seats for 4 on were empty with no bookings or people waiting in the line. The waitress was absolutely robotic and could only repeat that it was for 4 people when we asked why we could not take the seat- your shop was half empty. We asked for the manager and they had such a serious discussion when it was really supposed to be something so simple and dealt with in no time. It is unbelievable how unflexible the people were and this type of service absolutely lost its meaning of having staff in there- you may as well put a self service counter which would provide better customer experience. Of course we chose to leave and spent money next door in Feather and Bone where we were put in a sofa seat for 4 straight away, and told nicely that there was booking for 1.5 hours later which was fine for us as we'd have finished by then- Noc, this is why you have staff in your shop, to be flexible and provide your customers with the right service. Instead, your employee led to business loss and I would certainly never...
