Dear Neighbour Coffee — Restaurant in Hong Kong Island

This weekend, I went to a cafe near HKU station. The entrance wasn't very noticeable, but once inside, the decor had a minimalist industrial style. We decided to sit upstairs, and luckily, there was nobody else there, so we had the whole place to ourselves. It was a perfect opportunity to chat and chill with my friend.

The owner of the cafe was incredibly nice and recommended their Irish Coffee and Chocolate Hojicha Coffee. We decided to try both of them. In addition, we also ordered the All Day Breakfast and the Porcini Mushroom Pasta.

The Irish Coffee was a specialty coffee without any alcohol added. It had a beautiful gradient and was perfect for taking Instagram photos. The foam on top was smooth and creamy, and the taste had a slight acidity followed by a pleasant aftertaste. It had a great depth of flavor.

The Chocolate Hojicha Coffee sounded tempting from the start. It combined the flavors of chocolate and roasted tea. The taste was indeed rich and not overly sweet. The tea flavor and coffee flavor blended together perfectly.

The All Day Breakfast was incredibly satisfying and abundant. It included scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, cheese sausages, mushrooms, croissants, and salad. Every ingredient was fresh, and it left us feeling truly satisfied.

The Porcini Mushroom Pasta had a delicious aroma of porcini mushroom sauce. It was irresistible, and we couldn't help but take one bite after another. It also had a variety of other mushrooms, and the pasta was cooked to perfection, nicely coated in the...

"Dear Neighbor" is a high-quality coffee and Western cuisine restaurant founded by a skilled barista who values craftsmanship. They personally roast and select the beans, prioritizing quality. The menu offers a wide variety of beverages, including specialty options like "Irish Coffee," which incorporates three spices for a unique flavor. Another standout is the "Apple Tea Coffee," a new and fruity coffee experience with a sweet and lingering apple taste. The restaurant also serves a delicious dish called "Fermented Tofu Cream Cheese Chicken Pasta," which pairs perfectly with the slightly acidic coffee. The restaurant's ambiance is characterized by an industrial cement design with abundant natural light. The second floor offers Tatami seating, allowing guests to enjoy both comfort and a scenic view.

Lovely cafe tucked away in Po Tuck (haha) Street! Visited for black coffee about a year ago and it was really great so I decided to revisit for lunchtime.

Had the full day breakfast (98HKD) and apple tea coffee (60HKD) and both were amazing. Great portion and reasonable price, wonderful presentation as well. The apple tea coffee is quite unique, the apple tea flavour is subtle but complements the coffee very well.

The staff was very kind and recommends item to you according to your preference, and he takes his time to explain and interact with the customers which is a huge plus point. Food menu is limited but it's good quality. They do have greater range of specialty drinks aside from the normal black/white coffee.
