One of the best vegan restaurants on Hong Kong Island! The food menu is changing every day and it's always a high quality and very nutritious lunch or dinner set with amazing taste! The restaurant is offering a Buddhist Chinese vegetarian style menu that never disappoints.
The service is always very kind and helpful and friendly. Considering some employees are deaf it is even more amazing to see how we can communicate together and get great service.
The price is unbeatable and for that kind of money one cannot get any vegan food that would get even close to this.
We haven't tried it but they also have more exclusive group 5 course dinner options. The menu here looks amazing and considering the variety and choice the price is also great even for a more exclusive experience.
We also loved the soya milk drink which is very tasty and filling.
Last but not least, one would never expect such a good quality restaurant on a university campus. But here it is! A strong recommendation for all vegetarians and vegan foodies!!!
My personal favourite is the chestnut sweet...
Read moreI stayed at The University of Hong Kong for 2 weeks as a visiting student and went to this place nearly everyday for breakfast and hightea. The breakfast is quite filling and tranquil. The ambience is just right during breakfast and hightea. I am an Indian and we are known for spices but I just loved the food here although it may not be appetizing for all Indians I am sure one can never go wrong with the fried noodles! Do try it...the lunch might turn out to be on the higher side the pricing of breakfast and hightea is justified.
I almost forgot they have the best coffee on campus but not a lot of people know about this due to the presence of 2 Starbucks on campus.
For original coffee lovers who wish to cherish the real flavours of coffee on campus must drop by!
Quit going to Starbucks instead...
Read moreVegetarian buffet, pay as much as you take. I come here at least twice a week - always a good selection of items (cold appetiser, fried foods, desserts, spicy items, etc). Soup and rice are free too.
Recently they started to offer noodles with toppings, sauce and seaweed soup. I love this menu so much cause it's quite filling for the price you're paying (46HKD with 3 toppings)
Their syphon coffee is also worth trying!!
Calming atmosphere, can be quite busy around 12:30pm but usually the lines move quickly.
Overall a very pleasant, affordable vegetarian restaurant for students and visitors. Highly...
