A quick 2 day layover in country #18: Hong Kong, China 🇨🇳 We wish we had more time to explore beautiful Hong Kong. Hong Kong really took us by surprise with it’s vibrant nightlife, beautiful temples, and incredible landscapes!! Here are some of the places we enjoyed exploring and some we wish we had time for: • Avenue of Stars • Temple Street Night Market • Victoria Peak • Mong Kok District • Harbour City • Ngong 360 Cable Car + Big Buddha • Choi Hung Estate • Monster Building • Hong Kong Disneyland • Nan Lian Garden #hongkong #hongkongtravel #discoverhongkong #china🇨🇳 #canadianblogger #jimmysimraninchina #coupletravel #travelcouple #djiosmopocket3

Hong Kong Itinerary 🇭🇰 We didn’t originally have plans for Hong Kong but it was the best route for us using our BA reward flights and we bagged 5 one way tickets for £585!! 🤩💸 So we made the most of it and spent 2 full days exploring before flying to our next country, and we would definitely come back and see more of Hong Kong.. especially Disney!! It’s just expensive compared to other parts of Asia so keep that in mind when visiting. Here’s our itinerary for our 48 hours: 📌 (SAVE for future planning) Day 1: 📍Night Markets 🏮 📍Dinner in Tsim Sha Tsui area 🍜 📍Neon Streets of Hong Kong 🚦 Day 2: 📍 HK museum of Art 🖼️ 📍Avenue of Stars ⭐️ 📍Victoria Harbour / Light Show ✨ 📍Hong Kong Island 🏝️ 📍Monster Building 🏯 📍Hong Kong Observation Wheel 🎡 Leaving day: 📍Victoria Peak/Tram 🚃 📍Victoria Peak Park 🍃 Extras we didn’t manage this time: 📍Cup Noodles Museum 📍Disney Hong Kong @disneyhongkong 📍Ocean Park @hkoceanpark 📍Hollywood Mural Have you visited Hong Kong before or is it on your bucketlist? 🇭🇰✨ . . . #hongkong #hongkongisland #visithongkong #discoverhongkong #travelhongkong #hongkongitinerary #travelitinerary #travelwithkids #backpackingwithkids #hongkong🇭🇰 #victoriapeak #victoriapeakhongkong #hongkongphotography #familytravel #familytravelblogger #wanderlustfamily #bucketlistfamily #familyvacation #adventurefamily #welivetotravel #worldschooling #unschooling #travelanddestinations #mustvisitplace #mustseeplaces #hongkongstreets #familyfriendlytravel #kidfriendlytravel

The Yick Cheong Building is not without its critics. Some people say that it is an eyesore, and that it is a symbol of Hong Kong's overcrowded housing situation. However, the building also has its supporters, who appreciate its unique appearance and its place in Hong Kong's history.

Hong Kong's Yick Cheong Building isn't your average apartment block. Nicknamed "Monster Building," this 70s giant packs in thousands of residents with its labyrinthine corridors and sheer scale. Forget luxury living, this is concrete jungle life at its most photogenic - a must-see for urban explorers and anyone wanting a glimpse into Hong Kong's high-density heart. Upon reaching, you'll see a flock of Instagramers/TikTokers doing their thing. It's about a 10 min walk from Quarry Bay metro station but...

This place is famous for the movie transformer, also known as the monster building, where you can drop off TaiGu station. Then you will take about 7mins walking distance to reach there

There are a lot of signboards which warn the tourists do not disturb the neighbourhood.
