Terrible Experience with BAW Massage – Avoid at All Costs
I had the absolute worst experience with BAW Massage recently. Their communication is beyond poor, and their customer service is completely unacceptable. It took three days to make a simple booking, only for them to claim when I arrived that the reservation didn’t exist in their system.
Their response time to messages is ridiculously slow, and their tone lacks any respect or professionalism. To make matters worse, when I got there, they had the audacity to say they “don’t take calls,” even though they took my call, confirmed the reservation, and said they’d send me a confirmation via WhatsApp—which never happened.
The place is always overcrowded, making it nearly impossible to get an appointment unless you spend days trying to chase them down. It’s clear that BAW has gotten too big for its own good and completely lost touch with its customers. It’s a shame because I used to visit this place years ago, but it’s gone downhill since then.
I strongly recommend finding a competing massage place where your time and business will actually be valued. This was an incredibly disappointing experience....

I was lucky to meet the owner at reception and he was very nice explaining that they have tried to think of every detail to make this the best and most authentic massage in Bogota. The decoration was fantastic with most of the ambiance enhanced by the authenticity of the art pieces brought directly from Thailand. The massage therapist who performed all services were from Thailand and were brought to South America to also provide a traditional Thai spa experience. I was extremely pleased with the services and spent 3 hours trying three different massages which were all fantastic. My wife also had a facial and she loved the entire experience. Disgusting people, I prepaid for a massage for my mother and I, and we have a medical emergency an hour before the appointment, as my mother fell and broke her tooth.
They refused to refund us, and told us that we could open a petition with their accounting department if we showed proof of the medical emergency (either photos of my mother' bleeding face or a doctors note, neither of which they are entitled to legally), they told me all this over text while I was rushing my bleeding mother to a doctor, with 0 empathy shown.
I will now have to call my bank and ask them to return the funds as the service paid for was not given. I have never been asked to prepay for a massage before, and I never will again after this experience, what a bunch of robbers.
