Linđo Folklorni Ansambl — Attraction in Dubrovnik

Watching the Linđo Folklorni Ansambl in Dubrovnik was such a great experience! The dancers were full of energy, and their traditional outfits and dance moves were impressive. The music, especially with the live lijerica, really brought the whole performance to life and made you feel like you were getting a true taste of Croatian culture.

Overall, it’s a fantastic performance, but the venue could definitely use some cooling to make it a bit more enjoyable for the audience. There’s no air conditioning, which made things a bit tough. Thankfully, they gave us a bottle of water, but it didn’t quite make up for the heat.

Seating is come first come served. Better if you sit on a higher level to see all their moves.

Wonderful time - 25€, 10% off with Dubrovnik City Pass. From 9:15-9:30, they show a great “pre-video” of all the costumes and areas.

Room was warmer (so don’t need a wrap). When we got there at 9:10, the cushioned amphitheater benches in the back were nearly full, so we sat in the plastic chairs (about 10 rows) in the front. Because a lot of the dancing has fun foot work, it’s probably worth it to come early to get one of those bleacher seats to get a better angle on the stage (or take the first 2 rows of plastic seats).

Went on a Friday in Sept, and got our tickets Day-of, but it was crowded by the time the performance started.

This was a fantastic way to finish off our 2 week trip to Croatia. The costumes, dancing, singing and musicianship were all top notch. There were so many people on stage that really gave it the wow factor. So much colour and energy, there was barely a moment to breathe. I loved the way that so may different regions were represented. There was alot of variety and it was a very well rounded program put on professionally. I enjoyed the way the cast interacted with each other which gave it that personal touch.
