Split Rafting Adventure — Attraction in Grad Split

10/10 for Split Rafting Adventure!

We were visiting Split as part of a cruise and were looking for something fun and exciting to do. Split Rafting Adventure came up number one of things to do in Split so we gave it a try.

We booked directly with them through WhatsApp and the communication was excellent.

They collected us from our ship at 0830 in a luxury minivan and we made our way to the river around an hour away. The drive there along the coast was stunning before we headed into the mountains.

Upon arrival, we met our guide and were kitted up with wetsuits and the necessary safety equipment. As a family of four with a seven year old, we were a bit apprehensive. However, Stipan our guide made sure our son was well looked after and made him feel really relaxed. He went out of his way to make sure he felt included, letting him sit at the back alongside him.

The rafting experience was out of this world, around 12 km down the river with a mix of gentle and exciting rapids to traverse. Those that wanted to were able to experience caving whilst the others took a short scenic walk along the river to meet with the rest of the group. Half way down the river, we stopped to do some cliff jumping ranging from relatively low level to 3+ metres.

The team provided some fruit and cookies to enjoyed as we made our way down along with soft drinks and even some local Croatian beers!

Stipan our guide was exceptional, from making us feel at ease to his knowledge of the local area. An added bonus was the free go pro footage provided by the company, something that most others would try to upsell you to make an extra buck.

Finally, Stipan and Ante were awesome at making sure we were back to catch our ship in good time. He even arranged separate transport for other guest so that we could make our way back to Split in double quick time.

I’d urge anyone to book a trip with Ante and his team. Avoid going through Get Your Guide, Viator etc and book direct with Split Rafting Adventure for the best prices...

Experience - Super duper amazing experience of a life time with thrilling rapids in the river, cliff jumping, floating down the rapid, and an amazing Cave with and entrance and exit through a waterfall, Cave dive and swim against current the cold and fresh water from a waterfall inside the cave.

Instructions - Very clear, precise and timely instructions made it easy for all of us to pedal the boat in the right direction even in the rapids. We even did 360 degree spin on 2 rapids, felt like James Bond.

Gear provided - Life jackets, helmets, very much needed the right foot wears for the treacherous rock climbing around the cave area, felt like Mission Impossible

Picnic - After all the high adrenaline stuff, in a calm waters before the finish line, they provided drinks, fruits and traditional Croatian cookies.

Fun - Ante and Mike both guys are super fun to be with. The made everything so much fun from splashing water to how to celebrate when you survive through every rapid was great fun yet gave us a sense of achievement. Thank you guys and also thank you Maya for all the information and logistical arrangements.

I highly recommend taking this experience of a life time with Split Rafting Adventure as they say "Rafting done Right", so just do it.
