The beach, the pavement and surrounding is looking completely unkempt ( scruffy, neglected).

The showers are primitive. The beach/sand is looking grey with some stones inside.

The footpath is damaged and small.

No lifeguards were to be seen.

In May no flags are showing if you are allowed to swim or not.

I have seen no Bars on the way.

There is only a Hotel-Bar and a Restaurant with Bar.

When it is windy or stormy all the sand is laying on the footpath. The reason is there is no small wall to protect it.

Although it is not allowed to ride with bicycles daily we have seen them. Nobody is controling it. Dogs are not allowed but people walk with them!

The government seems to have no concept or money to renovate it.

Opposite you can find a lot of skyscrapes where you can buy an Apartment for...

Really nice! Aphrodite’s mythical birthplace ‘Petra tou Romiou’ is an interesting geological formation of huge rocks along one of the most beautiful coastlines on the island, located on the southwest coast of the Pafos (Paphos) district. According to the legend, the Ancient Greek Goddess of Love and Beauty - Aphrodite - was born of the sea foam here. Legend tells that she rose from the waves and was escorted on a shell to this particular beach. The giant rock formations, which are seen at the same location are linked with another - more recent - legend which tells that the Byzantine hero Digenis Akritas heaved them there to keep the Saracens Arabs (7th-10th centuries) at bay. The name of Petra tou Romiou (‘rock of the Greek’ in Greek) comes...

The beach is visually appealing, featuring beautiful scenery and a vibrant atmosphere. However, it tends to be quite busy, which can detract from the relaxing experience many seek. The constant influx of visitors may lead to crowded spaces, making it difficult to find a quiet spot. While the lively environment can be enjoyable for some, those looking for solitude might find the busyness overwhelming. Overall, it's a place that offers a mix of beauty and activity, appealing to different preferences depending on what visitors...

Nice and clean beach for spending time in the sun, swiming and doing water activities. The beach itself is quite wide and the sand is a greysh color and fine. Great for beach voley also and kids play, as well as team building activities. Along the beach is a nice paved sidewalk that goes for many kilometers. Public toilets and running water for shower and feet washing in proximity.
