My recent stay at Polyxeni Hotel Apartments was extremely disappointing. First, the cleanliness of the rooms left much to be desired; the room didn’t feel properly cleaned upon arrival. We booked accommodation suitable for four people, but the “sofa bed” provided was merely an uncomfortable couch, certainly not suitable for restful sleep.
Additionally, the bathroom facilities were problematic. The shower head was broken and couldn’t be hung properly, forcing us to hold it by hand. The overhead showerhead was useless, as there was insufficient water pressure to get any hot water through it.
Unfortunately, my negative experience continued even after checkout. I accidentally left two shirts in the closet and called the hotel within a couple of days to inform them. Initially, they assured me the room had remained vacant and promised to check with the cleaning staff. However, despite my multiple follow-up calls—at least four times—they repeatedly failed to return my calls or provide an update. During my final attempt, the owner became incredibly rude and unprofessional, insinuating that either I was lying or my companions might have stolen my own shirts. Shockingly, he sarcastically remarked, “Should I kill the cleaner?” and abruptly hung up on me.
Such vulgar and disrespectful behavior from management is unacceptable and highly unprofessional. I received no form of compensation, acknowledgment, or even a simple apology for the inconvenience. Given this experience, I strongly advise against staying at Polyxeni...

The noise however at night from the traffic is awful. The windows are inferior in this hotel... you won't get a good night sleep.. unless you don't mind very loud traffic as the room isnt soundproof with all windows properly shut. ||Shame as apartment was nice enough and staff were friendly. .. but I wouldn't stay here again because of how loud the traffic resonated in the room with all windows closed..it was very irritating.. and I felt tired in the morning from unable to sleep properly.... I had other options of accommodation but chose this unfortunately. Being charged for a room you can't sleep properly in is...
