Antonis Sophocleous was a successful Football Player in Cyprus Premier league and after his career he has opened this Restaurant.
A lot of people are underestimate it.
We gave it a try and were absolutely satisfied.
Don't believe that you can judge the quality of the meals before you have tried it.
The ambiance is looking quite simple.
During the warm season people can sit outside but there is still a roof to be protected.
The menu is offering a lot which leads to the question: Can all be fresh?
We ordered fresh (!) fish Dorada (19 €) served with French Fries ( potatoes).
From the house we got fresh bread with butter, Humus and Taramasalata.
The fish was so big that I was unable to finish it.
The second main was a portion of fresh mussels in Tomatoe Sauce.
Also this was of very good taste.
Some wine bottles were offered.
We ordered a bottle white wine Chardonnay from ARGYRIDES (25 €).
At the end we got invited for an Ouzo.
For one bottle of good white wine and two meals I finally paid 59 €.
Visa-Card was accepted.
I can recommend this...
Read moreI can’t believe this place has a 4.7 rating… we tried it based solely on the reviews. I feel badly leaving a 1 star review but this was our experience. The owner? did not greet us, just pointed at the table and we sat. Chicken wings (appetizer) were not fully cooked, salad was salty and pasta bolognese was made with mint instead of basil. Olive oil on the table was really vegetable oil, bread was yellow and hard and it came with margarine (not butter.) They even turned the lights off mid-meal and said they were closing (9:30pm) as the owner skipped out somewhere and the cook was left mopping the floor beside us. I couldn’t believe it! The whole experience made me feel sick to my stomach - I’m just happy my kids didn’t get food poisoning. We dropped €80 on the table and left it behind. Hands down it was the worst restaurant experience ever. I still cannot believe the 4.7 reviews… maybe we were there on a...
Read moreI loved this place, came several times during my stay in Limassol in August. Mussels are to die for and the best thing here except the food was the sweet service that I got here. I ordered a small pie for the desert and by the time I was finished with the main meal I saw an owner coming inside with the box of desserts. He was worried that they haven’t had the one I asked so he went to the bakery to get me one and apologised that it was a bit different one. I have never saw this kind treatment of customers and I see why it’s the most popular place for...
