This restaurant belongs to the hotel FOUR SEASONS.
December the 24th we have enjoyed here an evening.
For the menu/menue we have paid 95 € per person excluded drinks.
Although the Hotel Director has made the reservation for us, we got guided to a wrong table which I have detected and so the reservation sign got removed.
We needed to download the wine list.
Out of it we ordered a bottle of red wine: " Marques de Caceres GRAN RESERVA 2011".
The taste of it was poor (68 €) and so we have complained.
After some shots if this wine I have made my complaints and we have found a different bottle of good taste.
The offered meals were fine and we will return within the next months.
UPDATE: MARCH, 2022: Again we have returned to our favourite Hotel for relaxation. Of course this time between February and March is not high season. But after more than 10 stays in this hotel it is almost my second home. We felt like arriving at friends. You do not believe it? Well when plenty of the staff is greeting you with your name then this is one indicator. What makes this Hotel unique is excactly this concept: To make you feel happy, to feel and see service.
Not to forget is where this Hotel is located: Directly at the beach with plenty of trees and plants, with Koi Karps swimming around and with swimming pools indoor and outside. When you sit outside in the Tropical Restaurant to enjoy Breakfast and the sun some cats might visit you.
The Breakfast will satisfie you. If you have special wishes it will get fulfilled. The wine list now is up to date. The choice of Restaurants is big enough and even if one Restaurant is closed we were allowed to order meals of a different internal Restaurant. So here they are quite flexible. I got a room upgrade and say thank you for that. And of course I got a birthday cake and bottles of wine. Not to forget some of the staff were singing "Happy Birthday". Very often in the VISTA BAR Live Music was available.
Are there things what can be done better? Yes, of course plenty of things can be improved: Our room has had also plenty of problems with the Software of the Tablet computer. Ordered drinks and a bucket of ice cubes were not delivered to the room. The App of the hotel has not known my name or room number. And my Mail-Address is wrong was written from the APP although the Hotel is always sending messages. The reason is that this App is not available at GOOGLE PLAY. While Check-Out and presenting the bill the staff should make a pre-check to improve is it correct or not. A wrong bill was presented January, 2022. The technical equipment should be improved before presenting the room to guests. That was not done with our room. In the toilet the water pressure was so weak that even after 20 times the flush was unable to remove excrements. The fittings of the bathtub are still not working correct! Even after several tries of repairing it was unable to repair it. When you open the water tub water is coming out of the shower head as well.
UPDATE: End of APRIL 2022:
Again we have returned and got an UPGRADE to room 235. The room itself is very spacey, the bathroom is impressive but the view from the balcony is not so impressive. Downwards you will look at the roof of the restaurant terrace. And - what a pity- some other Apartment buildings are located close to the hotel and another Hotel will build more rooms. On the other hand it is a confirmation that this location is famous and calm. You still will feel relaxed and not disturbed. The Hotel App is also not working correct. The bedrooms are extremely comfortable, well equipped with thoughtful touches throughout. ||Dining is a highlight at the Four Seasons. From Michelin-star dishes to traditional Cypriot favourites. The restaurants have a good choice of cuisines and menus. Additionally, they have elegant décor, the finest foods and the highest level of service. The recent outside seating renovations to the Oriental restaurant have brought a fresh elegance. while the hotel’s timeless charm and exceptional service remain unchanged.||The Tropical restaurant was our “go to” restaurant. For breakfast and lunch time the outside seating is a truly beautiful space. For dinner it takes on a different atmosphere with the lighting creating a relaxed, intimate ambience. ||The Tropical offers such a large selection to choose from for both breakfast, lunch or dinner so that it was easy to choose different things each time. The standard of food, quality, taste, presentation and service was great. A special thank you to Stalo and her team, especially Lenia. ||There was plenty to occupy our 15-year-old grandson: An indoor and outside pools, gym, table tennis, a tennis court and a padel tennis court. A chance to meet new friends too! ||The beach has luxurious sunbeds and cabanas. ||The gym is well equipped and different classes are available throughout the week.||It’s also lovely to see newer team members like Demetris at the pool offering the same level of care and attention that defines the long-serving staff.||A standout this time was the wine lesson with Arturos who was friendly, knowledgeable and created a relaxed atmosphere, this was something we hadn’t tried before. It was absolutely brilliant and we even made new friends, fellow returning guests who, like us, feel there’s truly no place like the Four Seasons. ||Thank you to Heike who accompanied and guided us on the Lania Village Tour and then on to Panagia Amasgou Monastery. ||We were there for the Easter celebrations. Management and staff welcomed guests to join in the traditional Cypriot festivities and games throughout the weekend, culminating in an Easter brunch with traditional food and dancing. Read moreThis hotel is certainly the best in Limassol if not in all of Cyprus. Every other hotel tries to be like it and you can feel how it has inspired them all, but no one does it quite like the Four Seasons.||We were constant visitors in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016, then life kept us away and we did not manage to return after the renovation in 2019 until now. In the meantime we tried some of the newer hotels in Limassol that are often considered to be on the same level, yet you will quickly notice that the Four Seasons is the one they all look up to.||From the very moment I entered, the signature scent hit me and brought back so much nostalgia. The best vacations of my life were spent here and I had truly missed it. They generously offered us an early check-in almost four hours before the official time which allowed us to enjoy a full day at the resort. I had told the concierge in advance that we were staying for my mother’s birthday and they went above and beyond. In the room we found a bottle of house prosecco, a cake and even balloons. It was a beautiful surprise that she will always remember.||The amenities remain unbeatable. Since it was my first visit after the renovation, I noticed many wonderful changes in the décor. The hallways look like picture frames, the showers feature color lighting and the attention to detail everywhere is astonishing. Even the elevators are an experience of their own, with themes of fish, forests and stars enhanced by sounds and lighting that make you feel as if you have stepped into another world.||The pools are without question the best. The indoor pool is refreshing and complemented by a sauna, two steam baths, an ice room and a jacuzzi. The adult pool is also exceptional and the Four Seasons beach is so popular and beautiful that it hardly needs description, as everyone in Limassol knows it is one of the finest.||Families are very well cared for with two kids clubs, one outdoors with activities and another indoor kindergarten with caring staff who ensure children have the best time. On our arrival we also found complimentary juice for the kids waiting in the room which was a thoughtful and welcoming touch.||Breakfast is the best in Cyprus, set by the koi fish lake with an incredible variety of choices and the highest quality ingredients. The service, as always, is flawless and makes every morning a delight.||If there is one thing I missed it was having complimentary bottles of mineral water by the pool and on the beach. Many top resorts now provide this as a standard service so I felt a little disappointed not to see it here.||Four Seasons is undoubtedly the crown jewel of Cypriot hospitality and will forever be the true Grande Dame...
