Marina beach — Attraction in Kato Polemidion Municipality

So this is a review of the actual beach; not the restaurant. The beach is split; there is the restaurant and it's umbrellas, there is the public beach and then the private area for tenants of the villas and the Marina condos/boats. The area is split into lawn then the fake sand. This is all man made when they built the marina. The sand is ok, not real sand as some other traveller said. It was placed there to create a beach. The problem is that the water is not very clean. The area's water is limpid when seen from the boat but for some reason dirt, dead fish and trash tend to wash out on the shore; at times it's disgusting. The beach faces the wind and hence can be rough at times (not huge waves, but annoying ones with a lot of wind that makes your stuff fly). Finally the view is also not nice; over a building, over an old port where I think they leave abandoned ships and in the near distance the main Limassol shipping port with its huge cranes.

So if you are a tenant or on a boat; this place is fine but it's not worth coming there to spend the day. You should go somewhere...

This beach’s sand was so thin! I expected something soft and thick, but instead was faced with sand that was only 1cm in width! I saw a dead pufferfish (poisonous) washed up on the beach and a big fish, dead, between the rocks! I also saw a dead jellyfish washed up within the waves as well, which could’ve been a harm to other people who were on this beach! The water is very murky and dirty - masks, gloves, orange peels, coffee cups, plastic and more waste were found within the water! Brown and disgusting!! Not to mention, I saw multiple couples there, kissing! One woman was naked, do they have any respect?! There were children witnessing this as well! Windy weather, and overall disgusting and filthy beach! DO...

Cafe on the beach totally ruined our day. The manager and tge owner were so rude, so unprofessional, arrogantly lifting voice on the guests straight away when the question arrised. They told they don't care that the social media should know. So ok - they are shame of the whole marina, making very bad impression of the place. People working there know nothing about service and they are not even curious to learn anything...
