Cafe Calma — Restaurant in Limassol Municipality

Completely unprofessional conduct from both the managers and the staff. Let me share with you my last night’s experience. Even after an “accident” we had, when a friend of us accidentally dropped the shisha (without damaging it) they didn’t even offer us to replace it with a new one. By the time the “accident” occurred, we were in the middle of our dinner and nobody offered us to replace our dishes which became full of ashes and charcoals. They just took away all the dishes and glasses and left the table empty without giving us the chance to order anything else, making us feel guilty and discomfort for an incident that could have happened to anyone. Calma is one of those places you go once and immediately want to go back. The location is just perfect — right by the sea, with that relaxed, breezy vibe that makes you feel like you're on a mini vacation.

Whether you're there for coffee, brunch or cocktails at sunset, everything just feels well thought-out. The décor is minimal and elegant, the music never too loud, and the overall atmosphere is just calm (true to the name).

Service is usually warm and attentive, even when it’s busy. The food is fresh and nicely plated, the drinks always on point — especially their cocktails. Prices are what you'd expect for the location, but the experience makes it worth it.

Definitely one of the best spots in Limassol to chill...

How we ended up here: We went next door to Hobo Mediterrano, we sat down and nobody came to give us a menu or give us any attention. We picked up the menus ourselves as the table they were stacked on were next to us, we saw there want anything we wanted on the menu so after 10 mins we got up and left and landed on this gem Cafe Calma. Soon as we got to their door 2 not 1 hostess/waitress welcomed us at the door and were quickly seated. View is lovely and different with all the yachts parked right in front. The food was delicious, the steak was cooked to perfection just as I ordered, the veg was sweet and so tasty, the Seabass and prawns were great, just the Octopus was cooked with too much wine.
