Restaurant Review: TGI Friday's at Limassol Marina
Our recent visit to TGI Friday's at Limassol Marina left us with a mix of disappointment and frustration. While we had high hopes for a enjoyable dining experience, several issues greatly impacted our overall impression.
First and foremost, the timing of the service was a major letdown. The food arrived a staggering 45 minutes late, which is an unacceptable delay by any standard. This delay was further exacerbated by the fact that our starters were not only one portion short, but they also arrived simultaneously with our main courses. This lack of coordination in the kitchen resulted in an unsatisfying dining experience.
Furthermore, the inconsistency in serving times was highly inconvenient. Our party of guests experienced a significant time difference of 25 minutes between when each person received their food. This inconsistency disrupted the flow of our meal and hindered our ability to enjoy dining together as a group.
Compounding our disappointment, the food itself was served cold. This temperature issue greatly affected the taste and overall enjoyment of the dishes. In addition, despite specific instructions for one of the burgers to be cooked medium rare, it arrived well done. This oversight not only disappointed the individual who ordered it, but it also highlighted a lack of attention to detail in the kitchen.
Regrettably, the service from our waitress was subpar. She appeared confused and overwhelmed, which had a negative impact on our overall experience. Furthermore, the lack of adequate hand towels for our party of eight was a surprising oversight. We received only two towels, making it inconvenient for everyone to clean their hands properly.
Another issue that stood out was the incomplete table clearing. After we finished eating, the table was not fully cleared, leaving remnants of our meal behind. This lack of attention to detail gave the impression of a rushed and inattentive staff.
Finally, upon receiving the bill, we discovered that it was not correct. It was 3.90 euros more than what it should have been. This error added further frustration to an already disappointing experience, leaving us feeling unsatisfied with the overall value for money.
In conclusion, our visit to TGI Friday's at Limassol Marina fell short of our expectations. The numerous issues we encountered, including the delayed food, inconsistent serving times, cold dishes, incorrect burger preparation, confused service, insufficient hand towels, incomplete table clearing, and billing error, greatly impacted our enjoyment of the meal. We sincerely hope that the management of TGI Friday's takes note of these shortcomings and takes steps to improve the overall dining experience for...
Read moreI went to fridays marina to have diner with my wife. I used to go to fridays a lot in 2018 and 2019 and I have to say the quality of food ,service and atmosphere has dropped dramatically over these years. I went there because my wife insisted we go there for their “delicious” food and “delicious” deserts.
Bad service: I ordered the new fridays signature blaze which supposedly came with a deal which included one beer with the burger and it was just 2 euros more (we found about it after we finished the food) which was never mentioned from any server. My wife ordered sesame chicken strips meal which came cold as if it was made 3 hours before it was served to us. When we asked for them just to warm it up, without asking for a whole new plate as she just ate two bites of the food .They brought a whole new batch of the food which would be a kind gesture, only if it wasnt half of the original portion (and the normal one). The place was also overstaffed with very little customers and we had a hard time asking for a drink refill, having to wait 10 minutes for a server to even notice us. Anyway, skipping to the bill I noticed that my wife’s original meal was removed from the bill which we thought was nice once again only if they didn’t recharge us for the new plate we didn't order so basically we paid for the same meal just half the portion. When I asked the waiter to explain he basically said “thats just how it is” and left which we did not understand but I paid anyway and we left as we were too tired to even bother.
Food: The food as I mentioned was cold, dry and dreadful overall. A very dissapointing experience overall considering the prices are too high for some not even mediocare food. After the food experience we didnt even want to...
Read moreUpdate for info: Following TGI's response to my review I emailed and gave my phone number to discuss it further with the restaurant manager. This was 2 weeks ago today and TGI have not contacted me - as I said in my review there's no appreciation of customer service. I won't be waiting in for the call.. lol
Astonishingly negative experience with the manager. We were served flat coke-zeros so returned them. A second set came just as flat. The waiter offered sprite instead (which would have been just as flat) but I discussed with the waiter I didn't mind keeping the cokes if they didn't appear on the bill. When the bill came the manager insisted we pay for the coke zeros because we'd drank them. It wasn't a lot of money, but I discussed with the manager 'Jeega' I didn't want to pay for those drinks on principle and he was really unapologetic and unpleasant about it. He was clear he didn't care whether I returned to TGI friday or not(!). His attitude was terrible and it felt like he had no appreciation of customer service - Very poor! A real dis-service to...
