RUDEST MAN EVER!!! Shame on Cyprus... Never encountered such rudeness. It was extremely hot so only my 9 year old niece and daughter were playing to make it go quicker. It was actually suggested by the couple before us that less people will make it go quicker in the heat. I entered to hold water for my 3 year old daughter and the man came yelling at us because he wanted me to pay extra to stand on the side holding water for my 3 year old. I was not on the green at any given time- only on the side. Clearly no desire to play just to support the girls as it was my niece's very first time ever at mini golf... Not to mention we drove quite a ways but ww were also concerned about being able to finish with the extreme heat...while we contemplated staying or leaving, we purchased ice creams and water before paying to play. We decided to play since we made the drive and took into consideration the comment of the couple before us that it would only take about half an hour for two to play. We were the only ones on the course at first then only one other family joined so not busy at all. The man's CRAZY REACTIVENESS was more than rude - It waa uncalled for and extremely unprofessional. I was shocked and even apologized if someone in the past lied/cheated him. When I told him that I was honestly and wholeheartedly just on the side to support my 3 year old, his response in a yelling manner, "I don't care!! I told you that you have to pay to play!! " I calmly replied, "I'm not playing and it's clear as I'm not even on the green. You are welcome to watch me and if iI touch a ball or putter, I would be happy to pay double." Most true Cypriots are welcoming and support families especially young children and they typically want people to have a good time not yelling and shouting I don't care. We felt the greed/money hungry-ness... But above all, lack of kindness. I have never ever encountered this level of disrespect in Cyprus! Mind you all this for less than 10 euros (which I would have gladly paid if he wasn't so unpleasant ans so reactive - actually I was about to but then he wouldn't stop yelling so I decided I did not want to support that kind of behavior). It doesn't seem right. Perhaps business is down or the man has other deeper issues. It's truly unfortunate because his behavior even left a negative impression on my 9 year-old neice. Although I tried to get the reactive mad man to calm down and speak kindly and respectfully, he refused and continued to escalate. On the way home in the car (without mention of the situation), my neice said, "Why was the old man so angry and yelling like that, I heard him across the course. Couldn't he just speak nicely to you?" Imagine the impression this man left. Needless to say, I won't revisit nor will I recommend to other...
Read moreGood craic 18 holer. Young lad at counter was decent enough, but you get typical Cypriot customer service. Course itself has good challenges. Be wary of the brick edging around each hole, it's not all stuck fast. The lizards, dragon flies etc are fun to watch, nicely distracts the ladies so the men can get the par back down. All in all, good decent price for a good decent laugh. Second round is cheaper than first if u go again and the course itself is right beside one of Paphos' best go kartin courses. Juices n such are over priced, I can't imagine the overheads are that much that sellable products need to be so expensive. But hey, after sweatin much round an 18 holer you'd probably pay in blood to get a juice. Enjoy...
Read moreIf you love mini golf, this is a brilliant course. We have played many, and this was our Augusta. Lots of challenges requiring careful thought, a few hit-and-hope holes and some hilarious traps. Beware, the AstroTurf makes for speedy runs - it's very easy to over-hit! It's beautifully landscaped, and designed with great care... although when people don't straighten the brick edges back up, a nasty corner can wreck your shot. This place was built with love and is a joy - we immediately played it again and look forward to returning. The owner gives a warm welcome and displays an undimished enthusiasm and delight for the great amenity he created...
