Mezedogonia Tavern — Restaurant in Yeroskipou

First time tried Cypriot traditional foods. Warm welcome from a nice server, when we were trying to have a seat outdoor table, instead of that, he took us to a romantic corner table inside decorated with flowers and he put candle lights on. He brought us a strong Cypriot alcohol shot for begin, warm pita bread and high quality olives. It was so enjoyable with traditional music through out the dinner time. Not only atmosphere of the restaurant, but also the Food was absolutely outstanding! :) My husband is working for the food and beverage ,so he has got let’s say very picky taste and when he says outstanding, it is not a questionable thing! We were so pleased by amazing local food and until the end, it was not ended. We asked him a bill and he brought us a traditional sweets with ice cream (When we were thinking to go out from restaurant and get a gelato! ) we finished even that one not even single piece left behind. It was so yumm. I would recommend this place to try 100 % !! It was near by our hotel so I would definitely go there again before we leave Pafos.. thank you for good warm service again it was 5 star...

i recently stayed in paphos with my dad for a couple of weeks and we visited here twice, both of which were absolutely lovely and we could not fault them one bit. i was shocked to see some reviews which weren’t very good (amongst mostly very good ones) as our experience was so so lovely from the service - kind, welcoming staff - to the atmosphere as one of the nights we visited, the restaurant hosted live greek bouzouki music which i love. i would also just like to add that i work in a greek family owned restaurant in england (which i LOVE) and the food was just as beautiful (i am biased haha) we definitely recommend a...
