An interesting exhibition based on a cool concept. Many items are displayed and most can be touched, fiddled with, sat on etc. In addition to the permanent exhibition there is always a special exhibition in the back hall, which in this case was “Young in the 80s” and was actually the most fun part in my opinion. The gift shop also offers a nice selection of items and admission price is friendly. Probably around an hour is enough to see things (depending on the grade of nostalgy of course). I was only missing a little more explanation about specific items or about why exactly this or that has been chosen to represent a decade. You are allowed to sit and touch everything on display so you can really get a good idea of how it might be to live during that time along with special exhibitions that change from time to time. There's also a piano you're allowed to play along with a dress up area and a quaint cafe. Lovely little place and a ticket only costs 50 kr. when I was there....
Read moreThis is a small museum showing 9 living rooms, one for each decade in the 20th century. You get to see the evolution of the telephone, radio, furniture. There's lots of little details on every room and everything can be touched, picked up, opened, etc. Expect to spend about an hour. Staff are super friendly and helpful.
