NiIGHTMARE “HOTEL”!!
The worst place to stay at in Europe! The first night I was not able to sleep there at AlLL and had to sleep somewehere else!
This is a fully automated/online “hotel” with no people at the reception or anywhere in the hotel. Checking in happens on an ipad at the entrance or on their website.
Theymake it seem easy, with scan this QR code ot use their ipad, but the iPad stops working the moment you touch it and some an alarm goes off when you lift it.
When I arrived at the hotel at midnight after a long train ride from Copenhagen, I tried to check in using their fully online systems it was not sending me the room nr as it was supose to do. That would not be a terrible thing if their is some to help you!! But there is not anyone at this shitty place to help you. No person at the lobby, no one answering the phone nr and no one answering their chat. It was a complete nightmare.
And after 1 hour trying everything I ended up at 2am staying at another hotel for the first night.
The second day after calling again they provided the room nr, but no appology and no reimbursement… nothing!! It was clear that I was not the fist one to experience this.
The second night I experienced the room. The rooms are claustrophobicly small. You can not sit up in bed without hitting your head to the upler bed. And the matrasses are reduced in size and less wide than normal 1 pers matrasses, which does not allow you turn without falling out of the bed. So when in bed you feel boxed in and aftaid to turn making it hard to sleep at all.
Needless to say there is no window and no fresh air.
This place should not be allowed to ca itself a “hotel”, it has NO people and NO service and represents a prison cell in everyway and bad luck for you when their shitty software does bot work so you can sleep...
Read more3+. I had a nice experience here, it was a very impulsive booking so I didn't know anything about the hotel beforehand. I stayed for 5 nights, 2 nights in the basement and 3 on floor level. The rooms are almost identical, but I wonder if the bed on 1st floor is a little bigger and softer. The bed in the basement felt abnormally hard, but I did manage to sleep. Very small rooms and desk obviously. Only breakfast on the weekends and it's the smallest selection ever but it works. You get a lot more value for your money in Oslo for example, hotel rooms here in Odense are surprisingly expensive. Not extremely sound isolated, buy I wasn't bothered by sound while I was there so I think people where probably quite quiet. Staffed during breakfast and from 15pm to 18 or something. Outside of that you could call them, that worked for me when I needed a change to my booking. I'd rather stay here than in Cabinn hotel because that hotel has a lot of larm from the railway, hotel fyrtøyet lies more in the middle of a quiet pedestrian shopping district, and is well protected from outside sound since it doesn't have windows. Also has a very...
Read moreReally wouldn't recommend. We stayed due to the marathon taking place in Odense so there wasn't much choice, but the room was not comfortable.
Only 1 pillow, and I was staying with my partner so I didn't have one. There was meant to be additional bedding under the bed but that wasn't true, and due to there being no staff it meant we couldn't ask for help. Dirty room, there were old chips left on the chair so the room wasn't properly cleaned before we stayed. No window. Didn't think this would be an issue but it felt...
