Booked this because of all the research and reviews on this. Found out the workers put a little lean into guests for 5star reviews which skewed the rating.

Newer resort, it was lovely. One of the nicest I have stayed at. And I’ve stayed at 15-20 resorts in Mexico, first time in DR. The drive in to the resort was amazing, nice decor and nice features. Check in was easy, I paid extra for ocean view. Disappointed to learn that it is only a partial view that you actually paid for, we were on the 3rd floor and had thee smallest view of the ocean between palm trees. Which was disappointing and it was never communicated that it was a partial view. Confusing about the resort being adult only or not. some online say it’s adult only when looking up so we had assumed it was adult only, but there is a separate check in for adult only and a separate side, in my research and views I never saw. It was confusing to me that when looking up this resort there was not an option on some websites to choose adult only, which made me that it was just adult only, if all the booking sites didn’t have the adult only.

The resort is massive about 15 min walk from rooms to theatre on far side. 4 min walk to pool or food. Layout for resort and things could have been better, in the fact that you walk into the lovely lobby and you have a ton on seating and then the bar is down stairs with much less seating, that should be flipped. There should be a bar in main lobby with all that seating. Pool area was nice again not the best layout you have a main giant pool , in which you HAD to get up earlier that 930 to get a chair by the pool, if not there was not enough chairs to go around the pool. If you didn’t get there early enough the ran out of beach towels as well.

Beach area was lovely sand was amazing lots of chairs on beach. If it was windy tho you didn’t want to be on the beach rather by pool Where wind was blocked bit sometimes there were not enough chairs and that caused hostility sometimes between people Fighting for chairs, the gardens area kind of blocked more chairs from being put by the pool also in some areas or In some free spaces they didn’t have anything which was confusing because they could have put 20 more chairs out which would help resolute things.

Food, was good nothing bad about the food but nothing was really wow that was amazing.

Service, must be the Dominican laid back vibe service was hit and miss and sometimes lack luster and mediocre, sometimes we had great service and we always tipped which was strange.

Overall, this resort was really very nice, but nothing had the Wow factor for us. And again feel like I have a decent opinion on resorts as I’ve been to a few in Mexico and I would say for service and value I would choose some Mexician resorts over this.
