Overall there were specific members of the staff I have to give a special thank you for making this trip all the more merre. Deytar: at the front desk was by far the saving grace. He went above and beyond to make sure my family was well taken care of. My mom required a handicap bathroom and he had us moved to a room that was better accommodated to meet her needs and closer access to the pools and eatting. He always greeted us with a warm smile and open heart and hand to our needs. He is by far an asset to this resort and makes you feel like family. Roselyn- (at the spa) I had a hot stone massage and facial. I’ve had this service other places and can honestly say this was the best massage I’ve ever gotten she got every kink of tension out of my body and was very gracious when I needed to stop her to use the restroom. Her facial also had me glowing. Thank you soooo much. Biki- (server/ waiter) sooo gracious and sweet went above and beyond to make everyone feel like our wish was her command with a warm smile. These staff members really made my stay outstanding. The grounds are lovely and the chic show was the highlight of entertainment and fun. My only critic was the buffet I wish there was a better variety of food. If you can make reservations do so, on our first day all the restaurants were booked for the entire length of our stay. Fortunately Deytar pulled some strings and helped for some great dinners with my family. Thanks for your hospitality!

Let me first start with the best parts of the resort because the laundry list of poor services goes on and on. The hotel employees were very friendly and helpful, El Dorado and Sumptouri were very good dining options. Now buckle up because practically everything else was terrible. We traveled as a group of 6 staying in 3 different rooms. Let me also point out the photographer responsible for taken the pictures posted on the site did a hell of a job “staging” the room pictures because my dear let me tell you, ALL 3 rooms were extremely outdated. The beds were hard and uncomfortable, the bathtubs were extremely difficult to use due to the height and the usually place shower head and handles. The water constantly leaked all of the floor. The ceiling tile in the loft room was coming apart due to what appeared to be water damage, the light fixtures bedside the bed side were coming off the walls, the electrical outlets did not work. And…… the ants.were.everywhere! The trolley that transported you from the different locations ran infrequently. One of the couples were traveled with found random strand of hair in their bathroom and in their bed. If you did not arrive at breakfast before 9, the food was extremely scarce and unappetizing. The food served for room service was terrible! The quesadillas were full of process yello globs of cheese, the empanadas were dry and oily, and the fruit tasted like onions. The pools were not cleaned regularly so you would find floating bird dropping and dead insects all over the pool. We were constantly approached by vendors on the beach and in the pools trying sale miscellaneous products from jewelry to over priced paintings. And to top it all off on our last night….. the AC went out in the resort which led to a horrific odor in the room. Our room spelled like a dead animal was somewhere in the vents, the restaurants were unbearably hot and the hotel management did not alert us that they were aware of the issue that was causing the AC to be out when we asked for a fan we were told they could not give us one. And for the grand finale of issues….We woke up to the water being turned off the morning of our departure.

The check-in process was extremely lengthy. Although check-in was scheduled for 3 PM, my family and I had to wait over an hour and a half for our rooms to be ready. Booking any dining experience was impossible, as all the restaurants were fully booked for the entire week. Reservations cannot be made over the phone and must be done at the front desk, only to be told that everything is fully booked. If you book this hotel, download their app as soon as you arrive or before to try to book the restaurants. (We did end up going to the restaurants we wanted but we're a walk in and had to wait for a 30 min or so to be seated, which wasn't bad) that was our other option. The rooms are outdated, with squeaky uncomfortable mattresses and bedding; short bouts of light leaving but it leaves a few times a day. The bathroom leaks, and the tub is difficult to access as it is over knee height, posing a significant hazard for anyone with mobility issues or young children. Room service takes over an hour, (I'm assuming there is a fee after your first room order, since on day 2 I ordered breakfast and the fee was $17) The shuttle service runs infrequently, perhaps once every hour although they say every 30min. The hotel is part of a chain of three hotels, all of which provide similarly poor service. You have to call and hope you get someone to pass by within the hour at least (room did not provide any toiletries) I called and received no one to provide me the items. While the entertainment was fairly good, the food was also very good (buffet and restaurants) they were the only redeeming features of our stay. The staff were truly amazing and friendly. Overall, I would not come back to this hotel. It was not the cheapest but it was on the cheaper side. I rather book a quality hotel and experience with much better communication and ease of accessing room service and services.

Oh, where to start... we are currently in the hotel, tomorrow is our last day and I am happy to leave already. First, it took so long to make a check-in, was super hot, and no one even thought to offer us water. The room is falling apart, the fridge and TV didn't work, the mattresses are horrible! You can't charge anything because all sockets are broken. No pressure of water, no shampoo, jacuzzi broken. At first day our host Christian(not sure about the name) took us to eat breakfast, ended up he was trying to sell us membership, when we told him we are not interested he just left us there without the breakfast... same day, I asked for an additional blanket for my kids it took the whole day and another 3 reminders to deliver it to our room. If you call for services, no one ever will answer you! Hotel premises are well maintained and beautiful. Pool was perfectly clean till Friday, not its a dirty maddy paddly. The beach is beautiful and well maintained as well, with no complaints. Always lack limes. Some stuff is friendly, but the other is rude or just not interested in helping you. Liked the aqua aerobics and morning stretching with one of the animators. Yarby at the pool bar are very friendly and make the best caipirinhas. The food was ok, with a lot of options but nothing special. Cherry on top - on weekends all Punta Cana all locals are here, crowds are everywhere very loud during the day and at night. We had a good time but I will not come back to this hotel, there are much better options!

We have mixed feelings about the resort. The rooms are big, clean and very comfortable. Especially the outdoor shower hut and big bathroom. At check in, we had many issues..... We had 3 rooms reserved for 6 ppl and one room for an elderly which we have requested to be closer to other rooms however all 3 rooms were scattered all over. This made us a little concerned but they could not help us. We booked restaurant reservations but only to get declined by the restaurant at 9 o'clock dinner time stating it was not approved. Had to scramble to find the buffet to get dinner for our group. Workers are not friendly at most times. However, the cleaning crew was very attentive and friendly and helpful. One night, while we were sleeping, our door was opened by a crew member and made us a big scare but luckily we had the door chain on. The beach was the best part of the resort. It had some seaweed but most of, it was really good and warm water. Enough beach chairs so I didn't have to "reserve" with a towel early in the morning. The resort didn't have much entertainment and wished there were more choices with shows. The pools were not big compared to other resorts we have been. So overall, we would give a 3 star review.

Beautiful place. The Beach is stunning and the service is great. Altagracia, Gerado y Carlos M. from the secret pool bar were amazing. Super friendly and attentive. I Definitely recommend this place.
