Musée de l'Ecole — Attraction in Carcassonne

I was very sceptical at first - and oh Lord do they need funds to upgrade the whole place - but......BUT

It is incredibly informative and GREAT fun.

Forget interactive displays and VR experiences. Sitting at an old school desk writing with purple ink, building stuff out of simple wooden blocks....and for the musically inclined you can sing patriotic songs for kids in French.

I would recommend entering with great skepticism so that the joy of discovery...

The museum is beautifully situated, featuring an intriguing architectural design. Inside, the exhibits are thoughtfully arranged. Je me suis rendu dans ce musée pour découvrir l'école francaise datant de 1880 à 1960. Cela est très instructifs et vraiment très sympa. Il y a pleins de papiers, de documentation etc datant de l'époque comme par exemple tout ce qui cahier de présence. Et le petit truc sympa c'est qu'il y a deux activités qu'on peut tous faire.

1 er activité : Apprendre à utiliser un boulier ( addition et soustraction) et répondre à trois petits problèmes de maths.

2 ème activité : Utilise le stylo à plume de l'époque en trempant la plule dans l'encrier.

Cela est vraiment très sympa et amusant. Petits et grands mais surtout n'importe quel génération peut se retrouver dedans.

Le prix est de 4 e ( pour un adulte ) et c'est peut cher payer pour à peu près 1h de visite ( à peu pres) avec beaucoup de chose à regarder et...
