Food is not the best but not terrible (you get what you pay for), however the staff is very rude and unfriendly (I'm not talking about the younger kids who are nice, but rather about the, I guess, real owner - who also serves at tables). Additionally, and more importantly, the sausage in my cassoulet was not properly cooked: still pink and definitely rare... surely not good for pork meat - a serious health concern.
After showing this to one of the waiters, the owner wanted to double check (not believing my word, but of course agreeing with me after inspecting my dish). My cassoulet was then replaced, but none of the people working at the place apologised or took the time to talk to me etc. Not even an espresso offered as a sign of courtesy or whatever.
Go somewhere else, plenty of MUCH better...
Read moreRude and unwelcoming. We were having a lovely day until we went here. Large board outside listing various ice creams, so we sat down at a 4-person table with our dog to order some. Three other couples were each sitting at a 4-person table also. 15 or so free tables in total. With total contempt, waiter said we could not have ice cream because they want the table for food and drinks which will begin in 20minutes. We said we wanted drinks as well. He said that he could do drinks but only if we moved to a 2-person table (despite not requiring this of anyone else). At this point we left. Made to feel like second-class citizens and that our custom was an inconvenience to them. Avoid - plenty of much nicer...
Read moreIf I could give half stars I would say 3.5 to 4. The restaurant is located in the centre of the old town, and is very traditional in style with lots of atmosphere. The food was tasty if a bit over seasond for my taste both of us had the cassoulet, it was tasty and very filling a real winter warmer of a dish. We both finished off the meal with bread pudding made with brioche very nice only niggle I thought the custard was a bit too runny.
