I would give this place minus 5 stars. The lady was very unpolite. We asked her to taste some wine and she brought us the bottles to force us to pay them first. We asked her again to taste first. After tasting the wine was not really special and next to her pushy and unfriendly behavior we decided not to buy. We thanked her and said we are not going to buy. She was very angry and was shouting that if we don't buy we pay for the tasting. We had no problem with paying for the tasting but her aggressive reaction telling us 'if you don't buy you should pay for the tasting and leave, you own my the tasting and I don't own you anything'. Pretty much there is really something wrong with this lady. I have never been shouted at and treated like this anywhere else before. Just avoid this place and spare your self the humiliation and the frustration. There are plenty of good places...

We stopped here on a little self-led wine tour through Eguisheim and had a wonderful time! We all ordered one glass and enjoyed our wine at the table in the tasting room. They even provided a little basket of pretzel snacks for us! They sell easy to carry bottles to take home if you wish as well....

Cet après-midi au terme d'une de mes régulières promenades à Eguisheim, j'achète trois bouteilles d'excellents vins. J'ai été accueilli avec un grand sourire sincère, chaleureux et ai bénéficié de conseils et explications éclairés. J'écris ces quelques mots en découvrant chez moi un vin blanc "Charmes", une belle surprise, mes autres achats (Riesling et Pinot Gris) attendent leur tour :-) Merci pour l'accueil de qualité, les conseils, la qualité de vos produits, c'est assez rare pour être souligné. Merci aussi pour la discussion conviviale que nous avons eue, encore une rareté humaine qui mérite d'être soulignée. Je reviendrai très bientôt. Encore merci !...
