Galerie Le Capricorne — Attraction in Grasse

I had the chance to visit the beautiful village of Saint-Paul-de-Vence on a recent trip to the Cote d'Azur. The village is charming, with amazing views of the Mediterranean Sea and surrounding mountains. Being an art major is college, I especially loved the many galleries, which displayed a variety of styles and artists. My favorite though would have to be Galerie Le Capricorne. I love the modern style and the artists affinity for animals. Above all, the gentleman in the gallery, I believe his name was Daniel, really made my visit special. Not only did he have a thorough knowledge of the artist and his work, but he made me feel at home by actually walking next door and buying me a coffee. Be very very careful if you deal with this gallery and ask to see the insurance policy if shipping overseas. We had damage in transit that cost about 5% of the cost of the painting to fix and got exactly nothing. This was despite being told we were fully insured. The painting was left with our concierge and on the excuse that the carrier did not see the damage their payment was zero. Somehow stretcher marks and bubble wrap marks were put there by us deliberately. Advice from a professional painting restorer was ignored.
