Musée des troupes de montagne — Attraction in Grenoble

We had a fantastic experience at the Musée des Troupes de Montagne! The museum offers a fascinating and well-curated insight into the history and legacy of the mountain troops. The exhibits are rich in detail, beautifully presented, and both educational and moving.

What made our visit even more special was the incredibly friendly and welcoming military staff on site. Their warmth, professionalism, and willingness to answer questions added a personal and memorable touch to the experience.

Had a wonderful visit to this museum! The soldiers at the reception were incredibly kind and welcoming; they tried speaking English to help us and explained everything in detail. At the end of our tour, we got the unique opportunity to try on soldier equipment (which was expectedly heavy at 12 kg!). Of course, we also took selfies together. Then we participated in a fun quiz and were gifted a postcard as a souvenir. Since we were young visitors, admission was fortunately free. We left some lovely remarks on the visitor book as well.

Very interesting museum in the top of the cableway, it has many stages where you can watch a holograph of a person expanding the information in detail. Also you can see a representation of many war objects. The staff were very friendly and helpful, top top guys. Highly recommended to visit if you are in Grenoble-France.
