Saint-Louis Hospital — Attraction in Paris

My hospital Rives de seine referred me to Saint Louis Hospital dermatology for my skin problems during pregnancy. I met Dr Sophie who had me on the first consultation and it went very good. With all the labs and skin biopsy. She is very professional on her profession and very detailed person. She didnt let me without another Dr that could handle my situation as she is going on vacation. Dr Sophie transferred me in the care of Dr Gilles Battesti who is God-sent to me. He followed me all throughout my check-ups, follow up and stay for a week in the hospital and did a lot of blood works to be sure of everything. He even has the time to call me for my results and to give me an update in everything. He is very a hands-on Dr that I have ever seen. Grateful that someone is taking care of me while im on the verge of depression because of what is happening on my skin. He even made an effort for me to have a room in the hospital so they could follow my condition. I also want to commend Dr Antoine Delpuech (interne) for all the attention and care he had shown during my 1 week of stay. Reassuring patient that everything will be okay. He is so professional and detailed in every visit he does for a week. He gave his best to listen to patient in everything i was concerned about and do solution for it. Explaining and answering all my questions. My skin has been in so much improvement with all the treatment that these Doctors did to me and I am grateful for that! I can see light now after being in bad condition for 1 month. I gave all my respect to them. And to all the Myotos people Plot B 5th people especially my apply of the eye Madame Martine who took care of me everyday for my bath and all she is so nice and i am at ease everytime i see her. From bath changing the bed everyday. From all the nurses and staffs who is so nice to me and to my baby. For all the attention and care they have shown me. The foods which is always super. Great hospital and amazing staff ! Not sure what all these stupid comments are. I’ve been here a few times over the years and I can say it’s an amazing hospital they are professional and have empathetic staff members also, they save lives and they have an outstanding team ! Their ICU team is absolutely divine. I felt like I was in a hollywood set, everyone took the time to speak English, with staff members from all ethnic backgrounds from all over the world, they even coordinated their team to best care for individuals cultural backgrounds to best handle and uphold care to the fullest manners of communication, professionalism and clairvoyance, and discretion. The facility is top of the line. I cannot express enough how misguided some of these reviews are this place is a hospital not your personal doctors office or clinic if you have an actual emergency you will be in good hands and if you don’t you will still be cared for let me say this once hospitals are not your therapists ! Show some respect people for our healthcare providers. Thank you to everyone at Hospital saint Louis and also thank you to the firemen who worked side by side with this most practical and genius team here. Hospital saint Antoine should learn how a real ER and ICU is run. I speak from experience having been to both. The worst hospital experience of my life. I went to the hospital with a terrible headache and dizziness. I waited in the hospital for 3.5 hours. The staff is always having fun. Security guards are asleep at the door, nurses and doctors are always wandering around the corridors with coke in their hands and chatting in a shouting match. All they do is laugh and tease each other. I've never seen health workers sitting so idle in my life.

After 3.5 hours of waiting, when I asked the nurse when the doctor would see me, she said, "You are young, you should be patient. You've come with your boyfriend, talk about life for a while", she gave me some nonsensical advice.

Then, when they saw that I was having a hard time holding on, they took me to the emergency room and told me that the doctor would come to see me soon. After waiting in that room for another half hour, when I was about to go crazy, I went to the next room and asked the doctor that I had been waiting for almost 4 hours and when they were going to take me (I think the doctor's name was jessica franchitti). The moment I entered the room she was playing a game on her computer, not doing anything. After my question she said "we are very busy, there are many patients, we are not available. The doctor cannot see you right away, you have just arrived, you will have to wait". I left the hospital in anger after her mocking speech.
