Happy 30 years of magic, @disneylandparis 💜🥳 Today marks the grand celebration of all the memories made, castle pictures taken and character hugs shared at this stunning park. Disneyland Paris was the first Disney park I ever visited as a tiny dreamer, and I fell in love with the joyful way of life. Here are some of the best things about DLP: 🎂 Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain 🏰 Le Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant (Sleeping Beauty Castle) 🎁 Thunder Mesa (Big Thunder Mountain) Will you be visiting during the 30th anniversary? ✨ #laurensfloatinglights #disneylandparis30 #dlp30 #disneyblogs #disneybloggersuk

This park is tiny and outdated; it is like a knockoff Disneyland or rather, just another amusement park. It boils down to two things mostly; the park is disorganized and poorly maintained.

Even though the square footage is small, you have to take twists and turns to get to the entrance of an attraction that is seemingly right next to where you are (this is a poorly designed park). When they close certain areas for the parades, it gets even more clustery. This is especially true at night where they just start closing different pathways and herding people in without notice. It could take more than 30 minutes to walk to a place that is normally reachable in 10 minutes, especially with the crowds of people standing still in the dark, waiting for the fireworks 🎆

Most of the workers we met were totally unprofessional (albeit nice sometimes), didn't know the direction to the exit, another one got the closing times of one ride confused, etc. This was a striking contrast to other Disney parks where the Disney workers stay in character and seem like they were child actors. One thing that stood out in particular was that they don't check that you are strapped in by pressing down the bar or go through safety checks. The workers just sort of eyeball it.

Maybe that's why the rides are constantly down. Whenever I looked at the Disney app for wait times, there are usually at least 2 rides that are being fixed and "reopening soon." Crush's roller coaster was down for almost half the day.

The shows are very subpar. The Lion King musical and the fireworks are the two that are almost as good as the other parks', so I would recommend seeing those.

In terms of decorations, the castle is small. The decorations on the streets is nonexistent. There are no character appearances throughout the park. The trash cans are not cleverly disguised like the other park. In many places, there is a strong smell of feces instead of the usual smell of cotton candy and churros Disneyland wafts through the vents to induce you into buying food.

For dining options, I think the Agrabah buffet has a great variety of Mediterranean choices that is a little different than your average Disney restaurant. The interior is well-designed and the alcoves are vast. Bistro Chez Remy is a very popular dine-in option; it's most likely you will need to make reservations a month ahead at least. The Tony Stark factory is good if you want order-at-the-counter.

If you don't have time to buy souvenirs, the World of Disney and the other gift shops I'm Disney Village are open until around midnight or when all the park visitors have left, according to a store employee. There isn't a great selection of Mickey ears or pins. Not that there is much of a Disney culture for...

I was very sceptical off Disney I didn't no what to expect. But WOW! it was better then I had every dreamed off this place really is magical. Not a good place for ques we left a few rides and characters due to this but to be honest it didn't ruin it because there is plenty to do and see and round every corner it's different. The detail of everything is just amazing which makes up for the queuing and it is so clean!! It is a very pricey place but if your just going for the magic you can make it cheap. Make your own food and take it in. But Just don't get all the amazing merchandise they sell. They sell a tin off sweets 1 euro. So you could treat your self to that. And a Micky sandwich was 10 euro. So you can make it as cheap and expensive day as you would like. I was there during Halloween and the place was still magical. I've deffo got the Disney blues which I never understood why people say that but now I do take me back 😥 the only down fall was how rude some people were but you had to think sod them I'm there for the magic not the attitude and also the castle illuminations at nite the crowd was terrible and there's lots off things up ie poles and trees they restric...

Disney will always have that Disney charm and appeal but there are some downsides to consider about Disney Paris. The stand out issue we had was people smoking everywhere, especially at the firework display. We went to bed feeling like we'd smoked a pack of 40 at the end of the day. Queueing seems to go out the window and staff don't enforce order, especially in the fast track queues. People just stand in them and block them whilst they wait for their window instead of coming back later... Which leads people to think they're waiting in line when they're not. We had a particularly bad time where it took us hours to buy something to eat on one of the days. It was a Sunday, really busy and half the restaurants had been closed. This left only a handful of quick service options and each had queues that lasted over an hour (longer than any ride line we were in). This felt like pretty poor planning on Disneys side considering how busy it was and the fact that it shouldn't be that difficult to feed your family. Apart from those downsides... The rides were fun of course, theming of the parks is always good and we had a nice time apart from second hand smoking...
