"The day we went to Paris, Chernobyl, Arabia and Feather-Duster-Unicorn Land". Continuing our adventures in Kutaisi, we jumped in the little yellow cable car (jumped= gingerly stepped) and whoosh! After some unsupervised and uneducated kerfuffle where we and another foreigner repeatedly stepped in out and out of the car in a slapstick fashion in case the car was magic and would sense willing passengers and then begin to move (FYI this was NOT effective), we were on our way, floating up the hill like sweaty sardines in a little flying submarine, or something similar. We stepped off and BAM! We were in a run down but quaint little Soviet/90s theme park. It was the first time I'd seen the Eiffel tower (my partner refused to propose to me there but did allow a selfie, so that's a win). It is as good as they tell us. Then onto the Chernobyl Eye as we affectionately refer to her as. Our little colourful bubble floated slowly around the wheel in a wonderfully carefree way. The view was legit great and the breeze was gorgeous on our sweaty bods. Loved it. 10/10 will go back at night for the full experience. Then we wandered past a merry-go-round, with horses sporting stunning feather duster headpieces. We discovered a camel and a Volga (Волга) car parked nearby added to the Soviet style richness. After all this exploration, we sat on benches looking at the view and taking various videos of the cable cars going up and down in both time lapse and slow mo! Fascinating stuff. It was an enjoyable afternoon. The Chernobyl Eye was the highlight, the park is definitely worth a visit for so...

We were waiting in one of the cable cars for around 10 minutes while the guy sat on his chair on his phone before he got in and decided to take us up... anyway once you get up there you will see a lot of old grandmas and granpas going around the park cleaning the fallen leaves. You will also see some old rides like a ferris wheel and 'car fight'. I guess from the ferris wheel you can have some nice views but again it looked very rusty and not too safe so we skipped that one. The rides are cheap and you can get some good views but it definitely...

There is a teleferik, but we didn't use it. There are a nearby hotel and restaurants.
