The best place in Kutaisi to experience authentic Imeretian cuisine!
If you're looking for a truly memorable culinary experience in Kutaisi, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit. Every dish on the menu is made with care, thought, and a genuine love for traditional Georgian flavors. The average wait time for your order is just 10–15 minutes, which is more than reasonable given the quality of food you receive.
We tried a variety of dishes—mchadi (cornbread), sulguni cheese, veal mtsvadi (grilled skewered meat), cucumber and tomato salad, khachapuri, and kebabs—and every single one was exceptional. It's genuinely hard to choose a favorite because everything is so well-prepared and delicious. The service is outstanding: the staff are attentive, kind, and truly make you feel welcome. The restaurant is also impressively clean—especially the restrooms, which is always a sign of a well-maintained establishment.
One thing to note: while there is an outdoor seating area, it's not always comfortable depending on the season. Dining indoors is recommended for the best overall experience.
If you're in Kutaisi and want to enjoy traditional Imeretian food done right, this place should be at the top...

I came for a calm dinner with my friends. We ordered pumpkin cream-soup, khinkali and tiramisu.
The pumpkin soup - ordered with the request of only a bit of cream - that visually should be orange, was served in a pastel yellow colour, which would mean the amount of cream done with. A LOT! The soup was, in fact, a pumpkin sauce for a pasta, or at least tasted like it. Upon asking the waiter, Beso, what happened to “a bit of cream”, he said: sorry but “a bit of cream” means that we will not add cream on top. So, it means that the soup had the same amount of cream, and believe me, it was a lot. -8168329/10
Tiramisu, or more like, chantilly with biscuits - you can name it what you want, except tiramisu. 3/10
Khinkali - ok! 7/10
მოკლედ, do not come here if you want to continue to have a good day in the lovely city...
Read moreGreat place with great food and great service! We ate odjakhuri with beef and veal bbq with pomegranate - both was amazing, meet cooked soft and very delicious, portions are big, salad was great, and especially sauces: Tkemali and tomato sauce are highly recommended for try, they are exceptionally tasty and matching with meat dishes. Also specially I want to mention the service, unfortunately we didn’t ask the waiter’s name, but he was super patient and kind, as soon as we all don’t speak the language perfect and also we are not familiar with Georgian cuisine, we were asking about every position in the menu and the server was patiently and detailed explaining everything, being very helpful and friendly. So we really enjoyed, it was great experience, also beautiful place with live singing that brings up the atmosphere. Highly...
