Check in was very professional by a staff member name Lana. She was very helpful and was very attentive to our needs of booking activities and travel plans.
The room was nice and clean with a view and very roomy. Location of the Hotel was fantastic to the central city and easy to get around.
Crossing the bridge over the white stone river to the main city was amazing and would stay there again as a place to sleep and relax..
Had dinner last night at the Western Hotel Kutaisi restaurant. Atmosphere and location, brilliant, premise cleanness and style modern. Everything was great and we did enjoy our time there.
However the service was bad. The restaurant was packed and only two staff were working the restaurant, one waiter and a bartender. Both worked very hard and well together , but could not keep up with the demand. Not their fault.
This comes down to bad management and staff priorities. Food was average. My pork chop was like cardboard and dry, served with no fries or vegetables or salad, these were extras…. Therefore the main meal became very expensive due to the plate being an incomplete dish.
My wife’s Caesar salad with salmon was terrible. Just lettuce and large pieces of chunks of Salmon with no taste of any seasoning, source or texture, no care.
Just speed and serve with no care, no taste, this could be due to the staff required to complete this shift. Waited 30-40 minutes to be served and for drinks to arrive…. All in all, it was a poor night. It’s a shame, because it has great potential, just needed more staff support, and finer touches on guest services.
So all in all it was a 50/50 type of place. Room for improvement however with guidance of good management and hopefully with the assistance of Lana’s professional approach this hotel can achieve great things.

Read moreI am so happy we stayed at the Best Western. The staff, location and large suite was a perfect place for us to unwind after a long trip around Georgia. I really wish I knew the name of the manager to properly thank him for his hospitality. He genuinely cares about the people staying at his property and even offered to make us food after we slept through breakfast. We of course didn't accept but it is these small gestures that makes you remember a property and recommend it in the future. He arranged our transfer to Batumi and waved us off when we left! It really showed us how fantastic Georgian hospitality can really be. When you're a guest here, you are not treated as a faceless number but truely a valued guest. We loved our room with all the doors that opened up over the street and enjoyed the sounds of the storms that rolled through every evening we were there, the housekeeping was the best we saw in all of the month we were in Georgia and the 4 other hotels were all 5 star properties. The hotel is super conveniently situated next to the glass bridge, the main street with many supermarkets and pharmacies, a cute restaurant next door open until 2am and a popular restaurant called @ home just down the street opposite, which I highly recommend. The hotel also has a roof top restaurant and bar with great food and an amazing employee called Nana who really gave us so many insights into how it was to live in Georgia. I wish her the best as she is a bright star of a human and will go far in life. Again I wish I knew the name of the manager to write to Best Western directly to commend his outstanding dedication to his career and the company. Thank you to...
Read moreI had the great fortune to be able to visit beautiful Kutaisi, where I stayed here at the brilliant Best Western Kutaisi.||My flight was very, VERY late, and I didn't arrive at the hotel until 03:00! This was no problem for Beka, the front desk professional who warmly greeted me with a smile. I stayed in Room 103, and it was beautiful. Everything was absolutely spotlessly clean and inviting. The room was modern, meticulously appointed with 5-star amenities. Robes, thick and oversized towels, a very modern and brilliantly functional shower system, slippers and a comfortable bed were most welcome.||The breakfast was also extensive and freshly prepared, with classical continental selections, as well as absolutely delicious Georgian delicacies including fresh cheeses and desserts! Special thanks to Lika for her attentive and professional service. ||The rooftop area is not to be missed, with incredible views and delicious food and drink services. There were spaces both inside and outside on a meticulously maintained open and expansive sitting area which featured stunning views of the city, the river, the Soviet-era mountain gondola, and the massive mountain range near the city.||Special thanks to Reži, Diana, Natia and General Manager Vako for such a wonderful stay. The location is top center, and the service is top quality. I look forward to my next visit to this wonderful hotel and the beautiful...
