Gamarjoba! We stayed at Gala Boutique Hotel for three nights and four days about a week ago. It was a typical hotel that would meet your basic needs for lodging when traveling for vacation in Kutaisi Georgia. The best part is that the employees are courteous, kind, and well-versed about customer service.
Upfront, we were greeted and given some fantastic recommendations for places to visit in Kutaisi and restaurants to try. The helpful receptionist gave us a restaurant list and a map! And then she explained them to us. The advantage of this hotel is that it is within walking distance of Colchis Fountain, Kutaisi Park, Meskhishvili Theatre, White Bridge, Rustaveli Bridge, restaurants, and other attractions.
Breakfast is typical western fare, with eggs, cold cuts, pan cakes and breads, cheese, and so on. It was good, but it could have been better if there was a special breakfast meal of the day to add variety. Because it was the same breakfast every day.
The only thing I was not comfortable was, there's no bidet spray for washing. Other than that, everything is fine.
It was a truly wonderful experience to stay in this hotel. My hubby and I had so much fun and a very good rest after site-seeing. The wonderful lady in the reception even taught us Georgian board game called Nardi.
Please consider this hotel if you are planning a trip and staycation in...

We had a truly exceptional experience at Hotel Gala in Kutaisi. From the moment we walked in, we were captivated by the hotel's warm and inviting atmosphere. The lobby is beautifully lit, modern, and aesthetically pleasing.
What truly sets this hotel apart is the incredible hospitality of the owner, Tatia. She is a wonderful person who goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and at home. When my wife wasn't feeling well one day, Tatia was there to help in every way she could, showing genuine care and making sure my wife felt better. This level of personal attention is what makes Hotel Gala so special.
Beyond the amazing service, the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and maintained to a very high standard. Everything, including the bathroom, was spotless and well-organized. The breakfast was also rich and absolutely delicious.

Read moreThe day we arrived in Kutaisi at 4 a.m., Tatia was incredibly helpful to us. She welcomed us to the hotel early, offered us something to eat and a warm coffee. That was exactly what we needed because we were so cold and exhausted. She quickly cleaned a room that someone had just checked out of and gave it to us. A hot shower and some rest felt amazing. Tatia, you are an angel. The hotel was spotless, well-organized, and had a wonderful atmosphere. From now on, Tatia is our sister. The location was perfect and very central — just a 2-minute walk to the city center, and everything is right at your feet. I highly recommend having a glass of wine on the hotel’s terrace.
