I been there many times for take away baklava, mediocre baklava on pricey side but fresh! Today I was really upset with the two guys in service, they had a huge group of teens and took there time with them even though they ordered basically just tea and three pieces, After that with me they hurried a lot, I bought baklava in 20seconds worth 15 Euros and today I wore also a 🌈 bike hat and promptly instead of getting a normal nice green take away package, I got a cheap Alu box for my order. I specifically asked to pack it well for travels and I am wondering if the one day I wear a rainbow, I do not get the normal package for a 15 Euro take away order? Why? That's weird and I will not go there again. On top the guys were asking passive-aggressively If I am ok as I tried to close the box properly and needed half a minute on the counter. I explained that I tried to close the box for my bike ride, but they already were acting super busy and just wanted me to leave and we're not welcoming or helpful at all. even though nobody but one woman was there queuing asking for things they stressed around and acted unfriendly. Obviously this not a queer friendly place and even with a super friendly Turkish "merhaba" u feel like a second class customer! Will...
Read moreThe baklava I choose was absolutely delicious. That said, you definitely pay for it, with the prices here being pretty significantly higher than most other places in the area. They set their restaurant up as being a bit upscale, but the staff absolutely did not live up to that. The person taking my order kept trying to serve me the wrong thing, and the other members of my party didn't notice in time that the same thing was happening to them and unfortunately were overcharged and given things they didn't order (including THREE teas when only one was wanted). Additionally, a man kept coming to try to take our dishes while we were still eating. This happened three times before we finally gave up and let him have the dishes. The baklava was delicious, but for less money I think I'll go elsewhere and get something cheaper...
